Who may just purchase their own St next season and attend a few more this season. Good advice there Whitby!

Have convinced my workmates to try a "family trip" to one of the games so if it eventuates will hopefully have a few new converts.  I think the kids like it because the get to see their dads in quite a new light (and we wonder how hooliganism starts...)

my ticket problems just seem to be getting worse everyday, just got my latest bank statement ticketek put $225.00 back into my account and then took $233.50 out again which is f**ked because their weak exuse when they cancelled my ticket was they had overcharged me so in that case they should have put more into my account and taken less out for the new ticket  tried to phone them on the membership number and cannot get through why should i have to pay for all these toll calls to wellington to sort this out. i love the phoenix but enough is enough if ticketek get so much wrong why do the club still use them i am sorry to say at this stage ticketek can get stuffed i will no longer ever buy a season pass if ticketek are the agents i refuse to put up with this sh*t service any more two years in a row is to much will not happen again as i will refuse to purchase f**k you ticketek sorry to tonyp and the phoenix i have had a gutsfull.

arrrgggghhh!!! trying to renew by ringing the membership number all I get is "sorry due to the high volume of renewals we can't answer your call, please hang up or leave a message". If that means we suddenly have 5000 members then thats great but if not very poor service.

Ticketek please read and learn;

My experience with Ticketmaster Australia when buying tickets to Victory game in Melbourne;

Went on line to buy (from Ticketmaster Australia) - couldn't - Away Supporters Area not a selection option. Emailed Ticketmaster Australia asking to add Away Supporters Area as an option, next morning got reply - we'll sort it by end of today. By end of today it was sorted and bought tickets. Couldn't print tickets - problem my end not theirs. Emailed them again - please send me PDF of tickets so I can print. PDF arrived within 2 hours.

Job done - very happy customer.

Rang ticketek myself. The Tony (or Toni) who was supposed to have called me back was in this morning, but has now left for the day - without calling me back. The woman I spoke with said that she saw the note from my call yesterday on her desk and says that it is now gone.

Either she has actioned it, without informing me that she has done so.

or she is currently working on it, but wanted to have another half day at work.

Or just ignored it, so she could go home.

Customer service plus.

Having said that, the poor woman who answered the call from me was very embarrassed about it all and said that she will try and get it sorted as soon as possible...but there was a limit to what she can do because only one person there aparantly deals with the nix tickets blah blah blah.

First time I've forked out the full amount for the benefit of the club and luckily have had no issues on my first go. Ordered it as a new membership with expectation that it would be charged by the 31st of July and then sent out. All paid already and the card is tucked away in my wallet Would have preferred to have it around my neck but it's here and I'm happy. Here's to the season!

You'll love this quote from Ticketek NZ's Manager, one Mr Brendon Bainbridge.

The quote is in reference to a Nix season ticket holders complaint.

"Other Phoenix supporters complained on the Yellow Fever website of similar problems, but Mr Bainbridge said he had not heard about any problems with Phoenix passes".

I can't help but wonder how many of the 1,500 members who haven't renewed were burnt off by Ticketek's incompetence last season.

My ticketing was a complete shambles last year but this year it was perfect - I was hoping that would be the case for all i.e. Ticketek had got their sh*t together but guess not.

I wonder how many people are going to turn up to the stadium on game day, only to find out their ticket has been cancelled?

Problem is anyone umming and arring about buying a season ticket will read the article and probably be put off.

Maybe it is time to look at switching to Ticketmaster - I never hear complaints about their service and my personal experience, when I had Lions / Canes season tickets was painless.

We haven't (2008 so far on Nix site) and it is very poor service!  Who knows how many it could have been if they had got their sh*t together - we'll never know and they'll never know and the Nix will never know because their agent is so hopeless they can't even answer the phone!

Yep, got a call from Ticketek today (finally). Said that the ticket I received was cancelled because it was going to be easier for them to cancel the ticket, refund the money and order it again.

Why could they not inform me of this BEFORE they did this?

Is my ticket going to get to me before game day? Well she said that it has now been passed to the "card people" (I had the impression that, as their name suggests, Ticketek were the ticket distributors...) so it is up to them whether I get my new ticket in time.

Do I get another $25 voucher?

Is this going to be like the first season when I was sent THREE (yep, 3) working Phoneix Lounge cards instead of one gold pass? And when I tried giving them back they said "Just keep them" (so I did, gave them to my friends who are now nix members because of it).

Who is the "card company"? I asked and got this as a response "Ummm........(long pause)....ahhh.....(pause)...not sure....I'll look it up..." (i said don't bother).

Am I going to actually get my ticket before the first game? (like what didn't happen for season two).

I feel Really REALLY...well let down really. Every single year we have to go through this TonyP. I'm sorry, to appeal to you, but it is true. Things really really have to change next seaon.

if you're talking about a season ticket, I doubt Sh*tectek could make anything that easy.  However if you did it now and paid in full, you might/should be OK - it seems a lot of the problem has been caused by the part payment system they offered in June, and for some of us they've never actually taken out the right money (or not without taking it out again!).  Go for it - season tickets are still much better for the club!

yep. and I have a low credit limit, which is why I opted for the part payment option. If I knew this was going to happen I would have done it another way. Now have 2 tickets coming onto the card at once.

Oh well.

not if they do what they did with mine they put the cash for original ticket back onto your card then take the cash for the second ticket

Quite simply, this Bainbridge guy is an idiot.

Manager Brendon Bainbridge said the problems were caused by a "time-out issue" with credit card payments, but insisted it was not a problem with the company's online booking system.

So, Bainbridge, how come 4 days after ordering my AC/DC tickets I STILL did not have any confirmation e-mail, nor my print at home ezytickets??

I called today, was give a refund on the extra tickets I bought and miraculously my tickets were also e-mailed to me immediately!

Ticketek are the reason I am not getting a season ticket now because I cannot be bothered with the inevitable hassle that will follow what should be a simple transaction.

I have to agree, Bainbridge is an idiot if he doesn't think there haven't been problems with Phoenix tickets for each of the last 3 years.

If he wants to find out the sort of sh*t service Ticketek provide, he can come and read these forums. Or ask Tony P for some feedback.

I am surprised sh*ttytek haven't gone out of business yet!

Something very strange has happened, Ticketek delivered my season ticket before the season started and to the correct address.

They stuffed up concert tickets mind and then claimed in the media that they hadn't done that before. All I can say to that is that claiming you haven't made mistakes with concert tickets before is simply BS. In fact I'm struggling to think of a time when they haven't stuffed up on concert tickets.

However, credit where credit is due, I for one didn't believe I'd get my ticket before the first game, and I was wrong.

Now I'm getting all optimisitic about the season, just like the last two years.

I missed this thread, but to claim they haven't stuffed up concert tickets before is quite incredibke. Suggests he read his customer complaints files, I think his team know they stuffed up the Kings Of Leon tickets last time around for starters.

I still can't believe I got my season ticket on time this year - I'm still stunned that I won't have to get a temporary pass again for the first game this year.

I got told early today from a guy at my work who refuses to get a credit card. Ticketec why cant fans go into a Ticketec shop, fill in an application form and pay CASH for the correct amount and get the ST delivered.

Sounds simple eh? But no, it cannot be done. Ticketec would not accept cash in their shop in town. Instead they suggested he goes to NZpost to get a gift card to pay for his ST's online? They also told him that they dont do the applications in their stores.

As a result, that's two people who wont be getting ST's this season and having had the "Ticketec Shuffle" performed on them, have a bitter taste about the whole thing. No doubt he will be telling other potential fans about his bad experience.

Next season can we use Ticketmaster? I have yet to hear of any Rugby fans getting messed around with their ST's supplied through this company. Otherwise, might it not be even easier for the club to do this all themselves??
