My credit card got charged today, if you ring up the hotline they can process the payment on the spot, and let you know when it has gone through.

The site says that the first payment will be taken from your account on the 22nd of August, maybe they have to wait until that date for some reason?

Bad news: the Sisters of Mercy gig in Auckland is cancelled. Good news: I can spend my refund money on a benchwarmer membership.

Me and my 3 mates bought our season tickets this afternoon. Ticketek lady (Maddy, I think) on the phone was super helpful even though she was sick(flu), coughed half the time while talking and her system crashing. Asked if she could call me back to confirm as she had all my details. I was worried that I will never receive a call back. To my amazement, I had a return call from her within 5 minutes...

in short... I AM AMPED!! New kit unveiling was icing on the cake!!

So much this.  I just got off the phone with her coz I was concerned my credit card hadn't been charged.  She found me a new seat and everything.  Super helpful!

Jazz and Jazz jr signed up again!!Can't wait- home games are always my favourite time of the week.
Only problem- Jr is very very keen to move into the Fever Zone.So am I. He's only 9 ; we're both  vey delicate flowers  , and wouldn't be able to cope with the well meaning banter that no doubt occurs.I had a hard enough time last year explaining why he can't have a half time beer ( " But Dad , every game we go to , even Team Welly , you have a beer at half time. Why can't I?" )Not sure how I'll explain the fact that we're not in the Zone this year.I'll probably go with "all sold out by the time I renewed". Won't work though ; he'll know.

Just move into the aisle next to them Jazz.  That way you can hear the rude words but don't have to participate if you want to maintain a veneer of respectability with Jazz Jnr (that's what I do!) and you can also sit down.

However as I've mentioned elsewhere FZ isn't the only place with colourful language.

This season we are mostly be sitting back in A23.

Really?? FZ boys are not the only supporters at the stadium. EVERYONE is expected to make noise (show their support). Even if you are sitting 10 aisles from FZ. Wrong suggestion Junior82.

And why is sitting down a better thing? Standing up and supporting the boys is what we are known for. and so be it for years to come!!

Have you sat in Aisle 32 then? People look at you funny if you show even a trace of passion and raise your voice ever so slightly.

Better for the kids (and the people behind you).

exactly my point! It shouldn't be that way. If you go to the games(any sport), you SHOULD support (vocally) and cheer. Staying quite the whole game and be there as if you are on a picnic is  very much like egg ball fans. I have been to 'those' games and they are depressing. people sit quite and only make a sound when a player is running towards the try line.

Diasgree with 2nd comment again. There is not a single soul in FZ that is unhappy to stand. even the kids. and that is what i am trying to convey: it should be same all around the stadium. It creates a better atmosphere and ultimately a better experience for everyone.

No hard feelings.

I don't believe that this is the real J82.

I think that this is a Borg. Or someone has stolen his password (Graham Henry?)

Can we have him back please?

NEARLY THERE!!!

The ladies at the Phoenix trying to sort out memberships are brilliant (especially Brenda). Despite some "fans" assing around about whether to renew, she got me and Mrs Grandadi into exactly the seats (stands) we wanted (ya know, near the toilets etc., it's me age). Never in the field of human conflict has anybody been so pleased to see money getting deducted from their credit card....

Yeah, +1/ Brenda was AWESOME when she called me to relocate us - we upgraded from 3 adults, to 1 adult and a family pass (total 3 adults and 2 kids) and so needed to move.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

Oh dear. I've got charged twice then had one lot refunded then charged again.

Hopefully if I wait a bit longer I might come out on the credit side.

Clearly we are a club in crisis. Just take off your rose tinted glasses and wake up to the truth!

We're doomed!

(actually a pair of rose-tinted glasses would be good to get as part of the membership package)
