I remember seeing that video originally posted early last season some stage - I figured it was likely a Cameo type scenario whilst she was over playing in Utah where someone paid her for a personalised message saying that? Don't actually know if she is/was on those platforms or anything but it seemed the most likely scenario to me

Ah yeah that makes a lot of sense, looked it up and shes on a website called Swysh which seems like a cameo copy. She probably didn't expect to be back at the Phoenix a year later, and I don't think she would've done it while at the nix.

 I agree. it is up to us that show up to make a good atmosphere for both teams. 600-1000 Aucklander's expected to show up. That's pretty good numbers. And it will add to the overall matchday experience.

Plus I'm beyond sick of pretty much everything going right for Perfect FC since they first kicked a ball.

If the Ishigi report is true then thats a terrible blow. FFS when are we every going to get some good luck.
Cant see many good no 10s available at this time of the year.
Max Mata is a free agent?? Apparently he is fit. I know hes not a 10 but Conchie and Najjarine could cover that slot.

Does anyone know the rules on injury replacements. I heard somewhere that the replacement must be on $300,000. But im not sure how/when that applies.
I guess the Nix would have insurance and ACC would be also involved.
As for Mata. This could be his last chance to get back in the AWs. Huge WC year coming up

Agree. There's not much going on upstairs there. 

Don’t want this to be the tone, but two years running CC were thugs. They were the same last year.To me it’s the coach. He took a team of ball players and bought some thugs. If he doesn’t want them throwing in dirty challenges like that he says. When everyone pressing is leaving a bit on the player it’s a clear instruction. 

We bought and grew ball players and the refs allowed them to be kicked out of the game and maybe for Ishige out of the game, depending on how well his rehab goes. 

Shame on them, thugs and cowards. 

I’ll say this for the blues that they play and tackle hard, but so far fair. (Guess we’ll watch Cosgrove 😁)And remembering Manny and Siggie, that’s not always been something we could say at the Nix, sorry Marco 🙇‍♂️. 

But you are a (not so, closeted AFC fan) you even referred to them as “we” in an earlier post.

Yep it’s just a shot gun blast by someone aimed at anyone who is not a sheep and dares to question things up with the club, hoping that one day those aspects will improve.

I also have supported the Nix since game one. It’s quite a large club.

Posted already in the women’s match thread that I’m looking forward to that more than the derby, but of course, fire up!!

Big underdogs, the team (especially our young backline) really need to be switched on tonight or I fear it’s going to be a long and miserable evening.

I hope we do OK but im not confident. AFC are boring to watch. If they score first they have the ability to just squeeze the life out of the game. However if we get the first goal then its game on and they will have to chase.
I think last years derbys screwed up the heads of our guys. They just didnt mentally handle it well. They need to be cool and treat it just like every other match.

Just hope we DO give it a go. AFC clearly have the better match day squad now we've got all these injuries. They'd be gutted not to win this tonight, and should win by a couple of goals on paper. So we've got nothing to lose really even though it irks me to say that in our derby.
