Living in Christchurch I am too far from the action to tell for sure, but the whole thing with the "Port vibe" seems a litlle, well, manufactured. Or it could be an expression of a genuine something underneath - happy to hear others' views. Time will sort it out. Corica will not be around forever, and A-FC will not be winning the comp every year. Once the gloss wears off and the money gets tight, supporters' base may also shrink to include just the truly faithful, who by then may be more similar to us than to something fake and manufactured and vacuous.
You remember when the Yellow Fever had that ‘Spice Girls’ vibe in the first season or two with Hard News, Feverish, Jonno and co. Frankie Mac. Always in the press. Coordinated dance moves. Years of K-Pop training.

Haha. That's hilarious.
It’s probably just The Port did their training with Oasis and the Verve…walking down the road, bumping into everyone.
Anyway, geez mate, don’t encourage me. I hardly shut up as it is, let alone with positive feedback…
Wtf was oli sails comment that’s horrible his family was targeted !! That should be internal though as none of us would put up with that we would ban them immediately. I don’t agree with outing that in an interview after being part of this club for so long he knows that behaviour doesn’t represent the fan base. Shocked
For all your Waikato realestate needs contact me!!

I mean are we talking about the crap Dolores and whoever was doxxed put up with or playground names? Cos this feels like classic Becker crisis management- go on the attack, never admit problems, it was WSW trouble makers…
I’m sorry to Oli and his family if anyone genuinely associated with the club caused trouble, but if this is the first time he’s raised it, he can get back in his golf cart and piss off. Poor from a former captain.
