Great save from Crowther leading to the goal - was Reinaldo offside?
Edit: no he wasn't. Goal was a while coming, Brisbane looking dangerous from word go.

Damn...keeper parried it and then ping pong ensued and it it goes.
A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Did Lochhead head that back to Crowther ?

Yep, no one is playing well so far - even Ifill has been poor. Greenacre probably the only one playing alright

Ah well, I said a come from behind 2-1 win. That will still happen, don't worry fellas.

I wouldn't call it horrible, more inexperienced. Any keeper worth their salt knows you never parry straight out, you go either side or over the top. The fact he got a hand to it was impressive but very little other options unless he parried it along the goal line.

I think you guys are being very harsh on Crowther who had to make a reflex save to a header from the 6 yard box.

doesn't really look like the boys are up for this one.
Manny's got his hands full

Yeah it wasn't great keeping but I wouldn't call it horrible.

Agree, not the keepers fault, they just left Oar with too much space and time.

Too much space on the right of midfield
and the way Crowther saved made it look like it was soft header and he just palmed it straight to him

Weird game, like their minds or hearts are not up for it. Could be a repeat of the Sydney game with a cnage in the 2nd half in our favour!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I wish Bertos would take on the man down the flank and use his pace, he keeps bringing it back in.

Greenie has been our best by a long way - having one of his best games in a Welly shirt so far. Holding it up well, getting his head to it, trying a cheeky back heel - too bad no one else is stepping up

do we have caceres on the bench? if oar keeps ripping us up on that wing, I wouldn't be at all suprised if bertos goes off for caceres, who's probably a stronger defensive player
although ricki seems to despise making early substitions,so maybe not as well

Can someone hammer Tommy Oar please or he'll run circles around us all game. Hit him once and make him think twice.

I thought Caceres was a terrible defender.

What the hell is Sigmund doing? Is he awake. Its all going through him or rather where he should be

He's out paced on his side today

Wake up Daniel ! He is very lazy with the ball at his feet.

Some of our first touches have been f**king appalling tonight from just about everyone (even Ifill)

Thank god Charlie M has keft his shooting boots at home. We definately look like we are 3-0 up and in cruise control..which we aint.

wake up guys!!! or face being subbed

well I admit the most i've seen him is at home games, which isn't exactly a perfect view, but he seemed to be very strong in the challenge, and might be able to deal with a tricky player when oar looks to break
