Another suggestion..Invite the Executive Chef for Spotless Services Catering out for dinner at the stadium one game night. Get him to try the extortionately priced options he's passing off as "food", discuss options he could use to improve his product, affordability... and his reputation. (You might like to bring some members of the media fraternity and make a real night of it while you're at it.) They've had the contract since 2002, when's it up for re-negotiating? If things haven't improved by then, joint venture with them, and contract them to provide better food, reasonably priced, and we'll all be better off... or assist another company you control to secure the contract.

There are many great suggestions that improvements could be made to services and prices getting people to the stadium, at the stadium and returning home but many are out of the Nix's control.
If those who own the issues don't want to deal with them-then out them to the public, summon a media posse...be seen to be a champion for the Nix and standing up for a fair deal for everyone in Wellington...but tell the world about it... just like he's doing now.
The typical Wellington family wants a good time out at the Phoenix for a
reasonable cost- well priced tickets with flexible options, reasonable transport options that sync with the game times and/or reasonably priced parking, comfortable access sheltered from the weather when its bad, inexpensive, quality food options with some variety etc.
If the total experience was then effectively and repeatedly marketed as better than ever before to re-engage the Wellington Community, surely more people would come.
