I knew my knowledge of shark internet memes could come in handy one day!

He should have just posted the meme lol. Does this mean he didn’t want to go but his dad forced his hand?

surely he's old enough now to make his own decisions?

He doesn't stick around at teams though despite obviously being talented. Rumor is that Rado is quite hard to work with, perhaps Dario takes after him?

Take this with a grain of salt but I heard that Krishna wasn’t injured, he just had enough of working with Rado.

I was just reading the stuff article and someone posted the same thing.....

I heard that to, which seems quite contrary to Krishnas personality.

I think it was the Melbourne Victory game a couple of weeks ago that I noticed that Krishna just looked unhappy and frustrated on the park especially when it was 0-0.

You know there is problems when rumours like that appear - Krishna would easily be the Nix's most loyal player when it comes to supporting the team and coaching staff - but if he is not happy and not playing because of some break down we have mega issues to deal with,

That seems like a pretty poisonous accusation, basically a him or me

Well if the Stuff article is right then five players, including all the foreigners, made the ultimatum.

Perhaps I'm just being too optimistic, but isn't it just possible that this is the issue that's made us so inexplicably terrible this season, and this might put the off-field issues to bed and see us playing as a team again? It's going to need to happen quickly to turn around the perception we're in complete disarray though.

I'm definitely accused of being too optimistic about most things in life but I agree.

There is clearly an issue and the club is addressing it.

Permalink Permalink

be nice if they'd be totally upfront about it so their fans could hold some confidence that this season isn't yet another compete write off.

What do you expect? They said everything you need to know

"Over recent weeks it's become apparent not everyone has been on the same page and the playing group has begun to be affected by this uncertainty.

"We've put tremendous work this season into progressing the culture at this football club and the players and staff have bought into this. We are confident this unity of vision and purpose hold us in good stead to improve performances."

"We would like to thank Rado for his time at Wellington. His professionalism and experience has greatly benefited our football club and we wish him all the very best for future endeavours."

I don't think that would look very professional from the club if we aired our dirty laundry in public.

Yeah, the press statement is about what we expect to hear. No doubt Dome will be on radio sport in the next couple of days but he won't be a high priority for them when there is cricket to commentate on. And Darje will talk about it in the post game press conference.

Yeah that's why I thought it wasn't true, but him being injured for 2 weeks didn't add up.

Today's Dirty Laundry is yesterday's Crotchless Panties

I can't remember who imparted that wisdom but I think there is something in that for all of us.

It's not xenophobic by any standard - it is still a hypothetical statement (obviously) but it makes no qualitative judgment on those who are mentioned in the post. HRC101.

So, will it be a local lad now for a new assistant coach?   Or someone suitably foreign?

This season is so far a gigantic shark show. At least some of the issues in the team got sorted. Hope we see the players in the mood to play some awesome football on Saturday and a 7:0 Sydney hammering christmas present for us true fans. Fire up 2018!

Maybe Greenacre in the interim? Might seem like a step backwards but he's around already.

No, please! Never hire guys because they are just be around. Get someone for real.

I know this will seem a bit knee jerky but when you look at whats going on and who is in charge, the material on the seat that David Dome sits on must surely be smoldering by now. He is the one constant around our continued failures...... Granted you can't translate that into on field stuff but what else is left???

Rado Vidosic was brought in at the same time as head coach Darije Kalezic in June, with the pair said to have an existing relationship. That was now understood to be a shared agent, with little significant contact between the two before they arrived in Wellington.

Lol ffs. Honestly. I’m going to assume it was Dome that talked their relationship up?

Yeah, Dome said that Darje asked for Rado and that Rado and Darje had talked about working together before. Of course that could all be true with the agent facilitating communication between them.

Permalink Permalink

So, the club is a total joke now? Is there a point when we can start asking for our season ticket money back?

Ok, obviously things aren't quite that bad yet but on top of the last couple of seasons and with the license issue still hanging around in the background shark like this has a death spiral feel to it. I admire the optimism of the posters who think this is a sign that the club is sorting it's shark out but no matter how hard I squint or tilt my head I can't seem to make that particular 3D Magic Eye picture work for me.

I have never heard of an assistant quitting because they didn't agree with the managers philosophy, so this whole thing feels like a disaster from day one. The assistant is there to implement the managers instructions ffs. More terrible decision making by the football committee

First few games were excellent.

Remember the Roar comments where Rado was the brains of the title winning team, it's probably pretty clear that he holds himself as being more than an assistant

That game against City was easily the best loss I can remember...
