I'm in.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Bloody excited.

In terms of pubs, one big problem with the new stadium is the lack of nearby pubs. The cook is about a 15 minute walk, the Baaa sports bar is IMO the pick of them, about a 20 minute walk.

I might be able to jack up "the long room", which is Otago Crickets function room at University Oval. It's right over the road from the stadium so ideal in terms of location. Good bar prices. Not a pub though so we'd have to make our own atmosphere. If there is enough support I'll make further enquiries. Who's keen?

Right, I've just bought the flights (half price on Grabaseat)...........

I've booked hotel rooms...........

Now I've got to get time off work................

Did you see that the Germans are trialling EIGHT octopi?

There is only one Grandadi!

See you in Dunedin?

No - sorry too far and expensive to go with the family during school term.

We'll save up for the Akld game.

Bloody Germans - always looking to improve on things.

Got a flat of 5 down here. Will all be attending, cannot wait. CLosest bars would be Starters Bar or Mars Bar, about 5 min walk. BUt possibly not the ideal locations. The Cricket club would be top notch I reckon

All Aboard the Phoenix/ All Whites Bandwagon!!

This game is certainly the talk on the sidelines at kids football in dunedin today. Hoping and trusting that will lead to a big crowd.

How much have people got flights for? I couldn't see any less than about $240 return.

That's about what we paid. Saturday lunchtime down Sunday evening back. Good hotel deal on Hotels.com at $81.00 per room.

I'm dead keen for this. If there's a good crowd I could imagine it will be one of the best games to make the trip for, despite being a friendly.

The long room would be ace!

Looking forward to this game - will be interesting to see how many casuals turn out to the new stadium as well. I've got a few friends keen to go... mostly on the back of the All Whites at the world cup, to be honest.

Think that Dunedin will crack 10k for this one

Auckland will rise once more

Uh, uh, uh. Given there will be no "home" game in Christchurch this year I would give my left testicle to get to Dunners for this one. Could be a good road trip but would have to take a week off football at a rather crucial time...

Yeah well, our season was delayed somewhat so we don't get that option.
