Go west to begin life new.
Go west, this is what we'll do .

Went down with a crowd of guys for the rugby test last week and we made a trip to have a look at the new stadium, just looking from the outside it looks f*uckin amazing...

The crowd is so close to the pitch, it's perfect for the football codes...

Yep we are locked in at the cricket club across the road from the Stadium.

That's pretty much all you need to know, but we'll put a bit more out there in game week.

We're also putting out a tee shirt for this game.  Limited edition.  Might only be available out of the back of my car in fact.

Speaking of my car, I need to fill it with people, so if you are keen for a road trip from Wellington I am accepting applications right now.

Is that pre-match going to be in the Long Room at the University Oval?

Keep us posted about the Dunedin t-shirts as well. I suspect there might be a fair bit of interest in a one-off t-shirt. One day they'll be worth a fortune as rare Phoenix/Fever collectables....

I plan to be stirring up a bunch of family and their football mates down there. Am flying down from Welly. REALLY looking forward to it.

Long Room CORRECT.

I will be carting down a selection of Fever merch.

Will post a teaser of new tee hopefully next week.  Get excited.

Emersons brewery is pretty much next door to the stadium, do they have a bar?

Gday YF

If you fellas are still looking for a pre-game/post-game spot then Starters Bar is pretty damn close to the new stadium in Dunners. They say it's 600m from the Stadium.

Pretty excited about the whole affair, don't get to see the 'nix in action for the majority of the season.

Cheers

Not sure if I will be lashing out on the new Nix strip this year (inflation, mortgage, single income, my WGA loan has yet to arrive, etc, etc).  But will most likely kit the family out in YF attire (t shirts, bucket hats? season pins, fridge magnets).

I guess these will be a wee way off?

Both this morning and tonight's Tv One news talked about all the rugby games coming up in the next few weeks at the FB Stadium but NO mention of the Nix v Brisbane game.Typical.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Was at rugby yesterday. Any of you guys coming down will be in for a treat! Fever in full voice should be bloody incredible if we can get a decent sized group down in West Stand Fever Zone!

There are no banner pinup places in the West Stand. If Hard news or anyone in charge of banners wants me to put something up on the South/Family Stand I can do the honours. I will be in front row and with no wind to deal with the banners will stay secure with cable ties (I've already worked out where they can be hung and should be extremely visible though I believe the match won't be televised?)

I'm coming down for it and am rounding up others down there. I tried to get tickets online in the weekend but the online site didn't show any rows for the West Stand. It is supposed to show where spaces are available. How have other people got Fever Zone tickets?

Entire West Stand (capacity 5000) is general admission Fever Zone. Not sure is a "seat" number is allocated or not.

Hey Ahmad - be good to see everyone in Dunedin.

Great - if its general admission without seat numbers then we can create a great 'Fever' all right. It just wasn't very clear on the TicketDirect website.

There is a FEVER ZONE so make sure you get your tickets there.

We have partnered with Otago Cricket for pre- and post-match venue.

Get along to their Longroom.  That is where the action will be and where you can lay your hands on the new Fever tees.

We need some folks to help us promote this down in Dunners over this week and next.  If you're up for putting up some posters and so on, PM me.  There's a free tee shirt in it for you.

Booya.

(PS: No more discussion about rando bars please.  It's the LONGROOM or nothing!)

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
