If he is it's not unusual for a person to be bitter about a former employer.

... is there some criminal backstory about Caceres that we were unaware of? Did he and Ahmed Elrich have an Ex-Nix Player's Gang?

There was always chat about Caceres and his antics; even when he was at MV.

Is there some kind of FFA metrics that we could now qualify for? Caceres, Nichols, one of the Erlich guys, etc

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I will always remember him as the taker of our last penalty to win the penalty shoot out in our first ever home play off game.  Special times.

Shocking what he has done though.  Drugs and especially that drug are the pits of our society.  he has got time now to ponder on that.

Did Gameiro do his Acl again or something? Haven't heard of him playing a single game this year.

Been listed as having an injured calf all season. At this rate he is gonna end up a stay at home dad when Lucy Zelic gives birth to their kid.

A bizarre and disappointing career, I wonder if he'll call it quits after this season or keep trying. Hasn't scored a goal in 4 and half years, with only 23 appearances in the last 3 and a half years. Really harsh on the guy considering he's been riddled with really bad injuries, but I can't see another A-League team taking a punt on him if the Mariners don't

I would expect him to try the NPL before he considers hanging up his boots

Yeah, has to call time on a pro career now. He's got a good attitude and had lots of potential at one point but why would a team take a punt on him now? Even if he was at cap minimum.

Pretty interesting that he keeps getting shots despite only playing a few games a year, when other players who've shown potential get dropped.

I remember when he was loaned to us and I really wanted him to stay; thought he showed a lot of potential - such a shame how it has worked out for him.

Seems there might be a couple on here who may owe A-Rod an apology.

Who was it that said he'll never play in a league higher than the A-League? I personally always rated him and was gutted he left.

"Motherwell face a fight to keep Spanish ace Alex Rodriguez Gorrin with several English Championship sides keen on him.

The 25-year-old Spaniard has been a revelation for Stephen Robinson's side since December, shortly before the manager changed his team's style of play."

I think people forgot how young he was. The guy is still 2 or 3 years away from his prime which is crazy, hes definitely going to keep getting better

Was our bet midfielder IMO when here, just didn't seem to get the run he deserved.

A little like Rufer, it is often about having the right coach for a player at the right time.

Stand by my previous comments. This is the daily record reporting (what is that rag?). Seem to recall Leo Bertos was going to be signed by Spurs by a more reputable media source

Record (a.k.a daily ranger) is full of sharke. But, A-rod has been good for 'Well. A number of players use the league as a stepping stone on to bigger leagues.

Motherwell playing Rangers this weekend, so no surprise that rumours about Motherwell players suddenly swirling around.
