I have not scanned the thread to see if this has already been covered... but just in case it's news to anyone:

My normal season tickets are in Aisle 22-23X - just to the right (facing the pitch) of the YF zone.

When I renewed my membership, I also got the "same" four seats for the Football United games.

However, the YF zone has apparently been moved over (for the Football United games, not for the whole season) because the away fans zone includes the usual YF zone.

So, that means that the YF zone ticket holders who have their usual seats for FU, actually get seats in a bay or two over to the right...

... which means people like me who are usually in those bays have been given seats in Aisle 31.

When my FU tickets arrived I counted them, but didn't check the aisle, row and seat numbers... then a mate wanted to try and book tickets near mine in the weekend, so I checked them... discovered they were not where they usually are, rung the members hotline... got the explanation above (fair enough I said)...

...but then I noted our usual seats were in row L (covered) but our FU seats were in row D (Not covered) so I asked to be moved... and was with no fuss. Thanks Ticketek.

So, check your tickets, and make sure you are happy with where they have put you...

The West Ham Zone doesn't include the usual Fever Zone. From what I can see on the Ticketek website, the West Ham bay is aisles 18/19 and 19/20, and FZ is 20/21, 21/22 and has been extended into 22/23 also (which is a whole extra section that isn't usually part of the FZ). I think that you normally have Silver tickets in aisle 22 to the right of the Fever Zone, bwtcf? If that's the case, that's why you have been moved, so that you are still silver instead of being put into the Fever Zone.

Unless the West Ham bay isn't actually where it is shown on the website, it definitely isn't intruding on where the FZ usually is, so either the Ticketek website or the Ticketek customer support person are telling porkies.

That could be true too...

The lady told me (1) our aisle - aisle 22 - was part of the YF zone for the FU games, and she also said (2) that this was because the away fans zone took part of the YF zone.

That's what she said... but it could also just be that they extended the YF zone into our aisle.

Either way, check your tickets, and make sure you are where you think you are going to be.

Soft, I've played (and scored) on a frozen Forrester before.

TBH I was surprised they chose Forrester, it's out of the way, not a great surface and very exposed.

Hi guys - need help.  Got my tickets for the double header in Wellington - not able to make Auckland or Dunedin so went online to pay to view these games.  Have sky via vodafone.  Horror.....can't purchase events with vodafone package.

Haven't told hubby yet - he'll blow a gasket. (I'm in tears!)

Please Please Please...are any fever pubs (or any other pub/place) showing these games live on tuesday and wednesday.

Cheers

Four Kings will definitely be showing the game on Wednesday, and I assume they will also be showing the Tuesday game but I'm not certain on that.

It seems quite complicated - If you have sky and sign up with vodafone it appears that there's some sort of deal where you carry over your sky number ???

We joined telstraclear (years ago), cancelled our sky account and picked up sky via them.  When vodafone bought them out they gave us a vodafone decoder which just doesn't do pay per event - though We can get ppv - it just confuses me.

Finally got my tickets to Saturdays games, really looking forward to it!

On that note it's time for a PAX UPDATE. 25815 as of half an hour ago.

Have Vodafone and Sky sports via them. Watches with interest to see if and how this works out.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Sky Arena is available on Sky ONLY. Not Vodafone or anywhere else.

That is an annoying thing about sky arena. They should have an option to make it open for anyone, not hide it behind a paywall of a sky subscription.

Maybe once they sort skygo out they can at least offer it online without the need for a sky subscription.

But I wouldn't be so sure as long as sky are a monopoly.

Heh, so not only have they created a lot of fuss with offereing it PPV, but a large number of people who pay for Sky can't even access it.

I have Sky through Vodafone but with a MySky box (having had Sky separately first with a free sport for 3 months deal, then when that was up switching it to be through the Vodafone internet bill to get a discount) and we seem to have access to all the PPV channels so assume we can get this with a MySky decoder rather than a Telstra/Vodafone one. Not planning to pay for it but will have a look and see if we can.

I'm really looking forward to this, should be a good atmosphere at the Westpac. What are the ticket sales like?

As an ex-pat Pompey fan, I thought my days of a bit of Premier League action were long gone!!

I was interested to read Big Sam on the quality of opponents, 'Championship or a good League 1 side'.......I think he has been ill informed.

I also have Sky through Vodafone, but it's Sky TV (With a MySky box), not Vodafone TV (aka TelstraClear) hence can access Sky Arena.

As far as I can tell Vodafone TV cannot access Sky Arena.

Sounds like I will be "watching" the first two games via "Yellow Fever Forum" Arena, unless my local pub has coughed for it. Ah well.

We have SKY via Vodafone - you can buy the individual games via www.sky.co.nz if you log onto your Sky account, but there is no option there to get the $40 package deal.  When I called SKY they said they would have to transfer me to Vodafone to sort the package out as my SKY is billed through them.

What an absolute farce it is - 19.99 a game? How does 40 for all games and 20 for one game make any sense whatsoever?

which is probably why it's effectively being offered for free with the package.

I'm pretty sure it's actually $24.99 per game, or $40 for all four.

I can justify the latter, but $25 for one game is a rip-off!

Yes but for those whinging that $100 is too expensive, you can't sit there and say that $25 is a bad deal.

They're mostly soft-cock Frenchies and African Frenchies with a smattering of Europeans and South Americans.

The whole squad only has 4 Geordies in it plus a couple more English.

We've come a long way from Sir John Hall's dream of 11 Geordies in the team

Yes you can. Going to the game and watching on TV are two different things entirely.

$100 a ticket to go is too much, $25 for one PPV game is too much*.

*for most, it would seem.

But if you buy all four games on PPV, its only $10 a game. That's too cheap I reckon.

The $40 isn't bad, but as has been discussed before, it's not that great for those going to the Wellington games already. Those people only really get to watch 2 games live for their $40.
