Really good finish, West Ham looking like they don't want to play. Haven't even turned up as yet.

Now 3-1 to Sydney - very enjoyable!

That handball. 3-1 & Gameiro with his second. Awful piece of reffing though, how'd the linesman miss that?!

Still shouldn't come down to moaning about handballs for a supposedly good EPL side against an A League side. If the Nix and Sydney can outplay them, imagine what Chelsea and Man City will do to them?

Could he be worse?

Only Downing looks like he wants to be there. The West Ham midfield and attack has been pathetic. Not sure if Reid should be the AWs captain after this. Can you imagine if Nelsen was out there when this happened?

West Ham looking like a club in a bit of disarray. Unable to adapt without Carroll.

Final result 3-1 to Sydney! Pity the WHU fans who came all this way for these two performances. Winston Reid should try and move to a better EPL club, the Hammers have got relegation written all over them.

WHU lucky they're not playing NUFC this tour - imagine the hiding.

Gotta say I'm pretty happy with that as a pre season hit out, bit concerned about Antonis though.

So where does this mean that ACFC would have finished in the Premier League?

Being unbiased and very reasonable I'd say fourth. Seriously though, I think a match fit ACFC could give this WHU a decent game, could even beat them. In fact I'd even fancy Darlington's chances. These highly paid WHU players should be ashamed, they should play their hearts out when they pull on that famous shirt no matter the game. If in fact they did then they're in serious trouble this coming EPL season.

At least playing in a 60% empty stadium at Eden Park should prepare them for when they run at out the Olympic Stadium in 751 days.

ACFC beat the Phoenix who beat West Ham who beat Spurs who beat Man Utd who beat Leverkusen who beat Dortmund who beat Bayern Munich who beat Man City.

So first.

Three for me, and two for them.

I watched West Ham v Sydney 2nd half and Phoenix v Newcastle and must've seen about 4 shots on goal. Seriously, utter crap.

Haha Gouffran was more freaked out about having to answer questions on the tele in English than he was having to do anything on the pitch. Should have sent our fullbacks out with microphones...

Hi All

As a foundation member of Phoenix and a West Ham supporter I am a bit embarresed with the performance of the EPL team. But I was amazed at the support  Wellington gave for the much belingned Bling team tonight.  Particularly when considering the relative silence provided for the Phoenix later in the night

Sorry guys, it was a nice 'event' but in terms of actual football, it was seriously crap.

I feel sorry for any Welly supporter that didn't enjoy this afternoon's football.

Can't say that Bling vs WHam enthused me, but it was funny seeing the "glamour" boys looking very ordinary. Bling were certainly better than when they played Toon but not overly convincing.

Nix vs Toon however was a very enjoyable game.

I'm more than satisfied with our second preseason hit out, bring on Bonnyrigg at Liechhardt Oval on the 6th.

West Ham were so bad, they made Sydney look better than they were. I think if small sam stays, they are in relegation mode already. Their fans may be passionate and in good voice but their side just sucks. Their fans deserve better than this, some have travelled a long way to be disappointed. At least the ghost of cultured football has been well and truely banished.

The Nix V Newcastle game was heaps better. There were more than the 4 shots previously reported. The Nix did not embarrass themselves and gave a good account. Newcastle might have been in second gear but they are going to do well in the EPL this season. You could see that they were missing fhat spark that the Nix were missing early last season.

Now for the embarrassing moments. Nick Tansley not doing his home work and unable to name most of the players and treating it like a joke that only he found funny.

What was with the island drums at the start? We're not in Auckland

The one minutes silence should have been respected by all at the ground.

Lastly, I don't know what the Topp Twinns paid the Nix so they could appear but the club should refund them their money, they were hopeless at best. Next year, can we have David McPhail doing  his Rob Muldoon impersonations?

If the Nix continue to play like this, they are going to roll quite a few Australian teams. They are looking bloody good at times, ball on the floor, no route one.
