Hoipefully im stressing about nothing.LOL

They are holding 4k seats for season pass holders/club members until 12 Jan and then unclaimed seats go on sale.

So if you have emailed them it should be OK.

Really? There is approx 3,800 season ticket holders, and each one is entitled to ask for up to 10 extra seats each...

if every season ticket holder brought ten friends prepared to share a scaffold plank, you have to ask your self why the Hutt and not the comfortable seats, luxurious bar and cordon bleu cuisine of the Westpac? I know there's a scarcity appeal to a smaller stadium (are u listening Rob Morrison) but in this case? I'd say 4k is just about the strength of regulars + their pals. 1% of the wellington region...pretty awesome...something to build.

I agree Mr Stevens. I agree re. what is likely. My piont was that there does seem to be some risk that late responding season ticket memebers could create a situation where there is an issue. I wasn't saying this is the end of the world, just that it is "interesting".

Seats are reserved for the season pass members so anything over that is just pot luck surely?

Not really that interesting!

The 4000 tickets are for the season pass members themselves. Any extra tickets will be coming out of the other 4500 seats that are currently on public sale in a first come first served basis. Fairly simple I thought?

Crikey.  Between now and 14 Feb (1st game @ hutt), we have 7 games of which 5 are against teams below us.

We could be on to a sell-out crowd early on if we continue this form.

Not really Patrick the club asked season ticket holders to email them.they then replied they will be in contact in due course.in the meantime they start selling tickets.think it's more than reasonable to question the club about what's the story.do we need to buy our extra tickets know or are they being held for us and are they in the zone.

Considering this. Especially hearing tickets are on sale to public and I'm yet to receive an email back yet. Better safe than sorry, plus can always drag an extra along.

Have emailed requesting our tickets to all 3 games even though we're going to be out town for one of them. Will just give our 2 for that game away for free to someone. Thought it was easier to request all games, than risk someone making a mistake and sending us tickets for the one we're missing and not one of the others.

The grandstand is pretty horrible anyway. I wouldn't get too stressed about it. A lot of the seats are behind poles holding the roof up.

Yep. I suspect if you had left until 12th Jan, you may have missed out. I was in like Flynn,  to coin a phrase.

FWIW: I saw some pub talk further back in the thread.
All bar the last are within ten minutes walk.  Say fifteen for the last.

The Foggy Dew, 64 High Street, Lower Hutt.

Café Reka, the Dowse Art Museum, Sunday: 10am–4.30pm. After the Bellevue closest bar to ground.

Chapelli's Eatery and Wine Bar 18 Laings Road, Lower Hutt.

Bellevue Hotel 140 Woburn Rd, Lower Hutt 5010 – right outside ground. At one time, years back, the Stop Out clubrooms.

Exchange Hotel, 140 Queens Drive, Lower Hutt.

The Big Chill, 180 High Street, Lower Hutt.

Angus Inn, Corner Waterloo Rd. & Cornwall, St., Lower Hutt.

Parrot & Jigger Bar 477 Hutt Rd Alicetown, Lower Hutt 5010, 04 939 1036

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

This could be a good option if the weathers good - tonnes of room outside at station village

We're in discussion with a couple of options. I'm being purposefully vague so that people don't make too many plans yet until we have something better to tell you.

Hope to have a firm plan by next week.

Interesting that in this article Morrison is quoted as saying seat will be limited to about 7,500, where earlier the number had been 9,000.

Of those I put up this would be my least favoured option.  Quite a hike up to the Hutt Rec. Am not a great picture editor but the black dots show all the other locations. ( Angus Inn off picture in direction of arrow. If it shows when on the forum.)
