Yes he is.
Downloaded 'Around the Bloc' to have a listen too. I couldn't even last 30 seconds. Their opening tune was just horrible.

In The Zone V57 is live at yellowfever.podomatic.com & Itunes bit.ly/YFZone. Listen. Now!
This week the pod battles through their hangovers to look at the Hyundai A-League grand final and the winners from Wellington Phoenix FC's awards night. Elsewhere, the Young All Whites qualify for the U17 World Cup and Auckland City Football Club struggle in the O-league. Back in Wellington, Wellington Olympic AFC head the rest in Capital Football's Central League, while a Capital Premier coach delivers a verbal spray at their ref.
Snuck it out there whilst everyone was off to the AFL and on a public holiday, must be some bad news included. Never can't trust these public servants. I better have a listen before bed.
Might want to put a link to this on the main podcast tab on the YF homepage.

Ok, so we need 3 nomination for our best episodes in 2012.
Anyone got any thoughts? http://yellowfever.podomatic.com/
think the ep where you interviewed stein at his press release was good - good when ya pick up some exclusive audio.
I thought the Alex Smith interview after we beat Del Piero FC in Round 1 was pretty outstanding
VUW AFC - Victoria University Football for life
Shame - that was a great piece of journalism, right there! :D

The one without Smith was the best.

V58 is out.....
As we enter week two of the longest off season in world football, the pod checks out the three Kiwis who made PFA’s A-league team of year and discusses the merits of Leo Bertos re-signing with Wellington Phoenix. Meanwhile, Auckland City join Waitakere United in the O-league semi-finals, it’s goals, goals, goals in the Central League, allegations of groin grabbing in the Premier League, and the pod gets excited over the Chatham Cup.
Can you guys interview a Kiwi overseas? ..even someone like Storm Roux..
I liked when you spoke with Michael O'Keefe (although I realize he was with you guys), even a phone call interview would be cool.
The 2nd leg for Toronto in the Canadian Championship is Thursday morning. #Shambles
V59 - hot off the wires

With the off season grinding on, the pod speculates on the impending announcement of Wellington Phoenix's head coach, examines Jeremy Brockie's loan move to Toronto FC, and ponders how All-Star is the A-league squad to take on Manchester United? In Kiwi football, Marco Rojas is off to Stuttgart, Chris Wood's EPL promotion dream lives on, and Waitakere and Auckland City all but assure their places in the O-League grand final. While locally, the pod previews the first round of the Chatham Cup by chatting to Brandon Bodden, captain of Eastbourne FC.
Bit harsh on Oakleigh, Jimmy 'the Gympie Flyer' Downey is a product of Qld and the AIS.
Seems like every podcast is released before important news breaks, whether it be Phoenix or ASB Prem, classic timing.

Jimmy Downey aka the Gympie Flyer. Quite apt.

Love your work Smithy
We've gone a little guest star crazy this week. Even swapped Boxey out for a 'name'.
Yeah it's like a B-list celeb party on the Pod this week. And an early recording so Dale can jet off the Tokyo for his J-League trials.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

This week Paul Ifill joins the pod to discuss anything and everything Wellington Phoenix. Elsewhere there are interviews with Jeremy Brockie and Marco Rojas on their impending moves overseas, and a complete wrap on Chatham Cup round one results.
Awesome to get Ifill on.
Think its good when the lineup is mixed up a bit. Hearing different opinions and views keeps everything fresh - think most pods do rotate regularly

I like the guardian's football weekly where they pretty much have a different group each time.
I can understand keeping the core 4 for this one, but always enjoy the ones where we hear more from others - especially when they offer greatly different opinions to the general consensus
