5 teams 6 points or fewer behind us, all with a game in hand. Wow!

Our goal difference may be our saving grace at the end of the season.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

It'll be a bit clearer in 2 weeks time I think, those extra midweek games are between now and then for those with games in hand.

Hopefully the cramped schedule for the other teams plays into our hands a little as well.

You'll never beat The Salmon!

Personally I still think the table is to tight to be hoping teams beat each other, I'll be crossing my fingers for draws in every single game from the other teams from now on.

Just thought a 1-0 win to the Blues was >/= to a 1-1 result.Ideally speaking,of course

Imo Sydney have more potential to kick on and push for a finals spot than Perth do, despite their respective league positions, so I'm sticking with draw.

Yep, that is great news. We should all pinch ourselves and be pretty damn pleased with how things sit right now, ESPECIALLY considering the dramas of the pre-season, and the injury disasters, and everything else that has been going on.

Look at our form over the last ten games - won 7 lost 3.

I think it's 6 wins, 4 loses... WLWWLWLWLW

[quote]And the last seven games - WLWLWLW

I hope that doesn't mean we lose at the Jest on Friday...

We need more Daniel!

Don't worry it's all good. We have just hit an unexpected patch of away form.

Because I generally can't be assed with research can anyone tell me how many points the teams that finished 3rd and 4th got last yet? In fact, does someone just want to dig out last years end of season table?

Don't forget there were three extra games last year.

A better comparison is 2009/10 when third got 44 pts and fourth got 40 pts.

i mean league wide, so we can get an idea how many single points had been lost to the league and if it has an effect on what a 'par' points total for each position might be.

Heart play Roar and CCM mid week and this weekend. Without Fred I cant see them taking points out of those two games. We beat Noocastle and we go 3rd.....which is totally orgasmic!!!!

Hmmm I am not so sure about that. CCM and Brisbane haven't been the flash lately.

Brisbane will have more Broich and Hernandez back and the difference they made on Saturday was huge.

Don't you mean Henrique?

All three of the top 3 teams have been off form a bit lately, these games coming up will come down to who can find their mojo again. I think Roar will beat Heart, but the CCM game will be close.

If Heart lose midweek and this weekend then it doesn't really matter what happens on Friday, the following Sunday at the stadium becomes absolutely massive!

calling LF1 or whoever else has a million stats available - could you answer this question - How many draws had there been in the league by this stage last year?

Sorry I'm lazy at the best of times but I don't stand a chance looking it up on my phone.
