Keep this up, place 2nd, defeat the Mariners home and away, hope for the Roar to KO the Mariners, and hullo GF at the Ring of Fire!!!

BEST. FINAL. EVER.

Now we need a Roar vs Heart draw, then beat Heart next Sunday and take second

You'll never beat The Salmon!

How much power does FFA have over the location of the finals though, I'd imagine they'd be smarting a bit if they had to have it over here due to the lower attendence. I guess they could just jack the ticket price.

Its a bit early for this talk but, if we were to say make it, I'm sure capacity via Temporary seating would occur and we would sell the ring out easily.

Lower attendace my arse. We had a sellout for the major semifinal 2 years ago.

We sold out a Jest semi. GF at the Ring of Fire would be an EPIC sell-out. Or do you mean FFA wants more than 35K?

How many rounds are there and can we place 1st? Not that I'm getting ahead of myself or anything.

I was thinking about this also. They have stated if the Mariners get the final, it will be moved to Sydney because the home ground only holds like 20,000.

But if the Phoenix make the final, there would be huge backlash if they moved the final, as they certain to sell out RoF vs possibly half empty Sydney.

1st is very unlikely. Mariners too far ahead.

There is NO WAY they can move the final, for CCM supporters it is a 1 hour drive down the road, for us it is a 3 hour flight across the Tasman.

We will be lucky to make the playoffs with so many away games to come.

Exactly - has everyone suddenly become Manchester supporters?

Footy is a funny old game innit? A game of two halves and 90 mins, 90 emotions. It ain't over til it's over and there is a lot of water to flow under the bridge. It's a team game but all credit to the opposition and the ref is on the spot so will have a better view of things. At the end of the day all we want is consistency. If we take our chances in the front third and keep it tight at the back we'll get a result, but you can't give quality opposition an opportunity otherwise they'll punish you.

Audere est facere.

Onwards and upwards, in this space going forward. 24/7

Agreed. Let's enjoy the moment, but don't get carried away just yet. We've got the toughest run-in, while Perth have the easiest, using opposition's current points total as a guide.

This is the average points total of each team's remaining opponents:

Rank Team Average Points % of Overall Average 1 Perth Glory 20.700 90.393% 2 Newcastle Jets 21.400 93.450% 3 Sydney FC 21.800 95.197% 4 Central Coast Mariners 22.000 96.070% 5 Brisbane Roar 22.400 97.817% 6 Melbourne Victory 22.455 98.055% 7 Gold Coast United 23.273 101.628% 8 Melbourne Heart 23.700 103.493% 9 Adelaide United 24.364 106.391% 10 Wellington Phoenix 24.889 108.685%
