Nope. You forgot to divide by two (as a draw means two teams are credited with a draw). 47 last season, 22 so far this season.

47 draws last year and 22 so far this year. Each team shares the draw with the opposing team.

Hmmm, are we going to lose 47 league pts again this year?

Fuck this stupid game

Last season 4, Season before 9
i mean league wide, so we can get an idea how many single points had been lost to the league and if it has an effect on what a 'par' points total for each position might be.
calling LF1 or whoever else has a million stats available - could you answer this question - How many draws had there been in the league by this stage last year?

Sorry I'm lazy at the best of times but I don't stand a chance looking it up on my phone.
Just did a quick count from Wikipedia.

11-12 = 22 Draws (15 Weeks + 1 Midweek round)
10-11 = 28 Draws (15 Weeks + Midweek games)
09-10 = 21 Draws (16 Weeks)

[Edit: The reason 10-11 might be higher could be because most teams had played 2 Midweek games by then]

Even if all the teams had played 2 midweek games, thats only 5 games and I doubt all of them were draws. So basically, this season is on part with 09/10 and slightly below 10/11

If I ignore Round 15 in 2010-11, it will give us about the same amount of games.

2011-12: after 81 games = 22 draws
2010-11: after 79 games = 26 draws
2009-10: after 80 games = 21 draws

[Edit: was only 79 games after Round 14 in 10-11, not 81 like I posted at first]

How kind have the other results been to us for the past few rounds?

Very kind I think.

That score doesn't reflect at all how well Heart played. Pasty will have to be on top of his game is he is going to play anywhere near as well as Ryan to deny the Heart goals.

Hope we have the points all sorted by Feb 29 when we play Jamaica, because some might be playing 3 games in that week.

Sat 25 Feb vs Sydney

Wed 29 Feb vs Jamaica

Sun 4 Mar vs Gold Coast

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

The Phoenix All Whites will fly from Sydney to Auckland to Wellington (if they actually play all three games).

Not too bad.

If the likes of Bertos and Brown end up being rested or played off the bench for the Gold Coast game it could be a blessing in disguise.

Yes Heart played very well. If we can't get our defensive midfield sorted out we could be in trouble in that game. if we beat them we could go to 3rd....

Yeah. I think the sometimes critisized Vinnie Lia is a key to locking that midfield down. Jeff Vader2012-01-19 11:55:17

All true, but, i was thinking ...

they looked pretty fancy between the two penalty boxes, but no goal and gave one up
look at their season stats - not scoring much more goals than us, and given up a couple more

even GCU looks pretty good between the penalty boxes.  Heart are neither putting enough away nor tight as a nun's at the back.  That's where Brown's so good for us.  Those dirty goals with (supposedly) not much else going on make a big difference to results.  And then siggy and dura.  We've earned our spot, though we look less fancy than some in the middle.

I like how the table looks at the moment, and I'll like it even more if we pick up a result at Newcastle.

The reality is that we have a tough final third of the season and if we make the playoffs then no-one can say we didn't deserve it.
