So why would Victory pay top dollar(allegedly) for a reserve?

I was going for shaming them in to not doing it.

That would presume they have some - I'm unsure.

They don't play with wingers so he won't play there.  He's not going to push Danny, Archie or Kruse out.  He's not going to push FatCarlos or Angulo out.  Sure one or two of them may leave but that still leaves three players for three spots ahead of him, even if Kruse and/or Angulo go.

From what i read we offered the most lucrative contract.

Kruse and Angulo will go. Carlos barely looks like he gives half a sh*t lately. Archie's always crocked, and Danny is Danny.

He'll play.

Now ive calmed down a lot...... Good luck to the dude. I mean, im upset with him big time. Ruined my afternoon. Came home after a good day at work, went straight on the forums and saw this.

However, whilst I don't think Victory is a good team for him (brissy or CCM would have been better), I hope that all this angst (mine included) doesnt put him off playing for the all whites.

A big stretch to suggest Marco would be in competition with Allsopp and Thompson.

There wont be as many splinters to dig out of his butt as there would be with Carlos sat there.

Because they need a 10 for the youth side?  because they can't create any decent players out of the hundreds of thousands of youngsters in Victoria?

f**ked if I know.  Let's be honest, if we had Smeltz and van Dijk, do you think that would stop us signing Leckie ?

Kruse is gone. Angulo is gone. Hernandez gone to KFC.

Throughout my time supporting the Nix (2nd season starter) I have not taken to bagging any of the players... other than Judas (better shopping etc).

That might be a recipe for mediocrity in some of the perfectionists amongst us (whom I doubt are effective people managers of whatever line of business they are in).

In this case I am extremely disappointed in the Rojas family's decision.  More than happy to stick it to them when they return to RoF.  They deserve every bit of hostility we can muster.

"Judas, Judas what's the score?" - you ain't seen nothing yet.

PS to all of those holier-than-thou posters saying have some maturity/perspective:  Go f#ck yourselves.

"Rojas' agent is his father Rodi and he told The Sunday-Star Times that financial reasons were not behind their decision and said the Phoenix tabled the best financial offer."

Is he banking on both Ange to arrive as coach and for Carlos Hernandez to leave?

He's dreaming if he thinks he's going to play in a central attacking midfield position. Well maybe for the Youth team!

You dont put a player who was cutting up the league and that everyone was drooling over in the youth team
Face it, one way or the other he'll be starting
