All I can see coming from this is that we will be called a "bunch of whining Kiwi's". I moved on from it after the woeful call and dive simply because I know that no one but those on the receiving end truly give a fuck. I want to see the ref stood down for a number of weeks after making at least 2 game-changing mistakes (more like 3 in my book).
Siggy's card should be rescinded.
Jeronimo should be suspended for one game for simulation if FFA have any integrity.
Now, to us:
- Totori cost us two goals tonight - I think it's fair he stays home next week. It's not like he tried a through ball or something like that. On the first goal he let his man run 60 meters with the ball without doing jack. On the second goal he lots the ball in the middle of midfield.
- Boyd has hardly touched the ball everytime he has played. He is only 17 - I think we should explore other avenues, Clarke to name one and give Boyd more time to mature.
Overall, we should have done better in the second half, refree's mistakes notwhistdanding.
Big ups to Dura for saying it like it it - he sure has integrity - unlike those so-called journos who said you can't call someone a cheat even if he is blatantly one!

Need to send our own commentary team over there if that's the best we can do. Rinaldo (Adelaide fan and their former "media officer" and Harper were a joke. Harper is so much better than that. Really rate him usually. Oz sure don't want a NZ side. If I was an owner I'd be ucking furious. Good news is as Dura said - this is a really tight bunch. Lots of us have seen them training and pre-season this year, and know this is the best squad we've ever had - especially if Sanchez and co comeback OK. Some-one has to pay for this.

3: Difficult to know if the red will get over turned for the primary reason that there was contact from Sigmund. Granted it most likely did not have an effect on Jeronimo going down (and any person can see that), but there is contact.
4: We could need 2 CB's next week... Granted Dura was right, but he faces a sanction (plus good behaviour bond??) It would have been better coming from Ricki in the post match for the sake of player availability.
5: Always said Totori was shit and should have never been signed, now people are seeing it for themselves.

We struggled to come to grips with Adelaide in the midfield and the two strikers just chased players all game without getting any decent balls played to feet. Brockie for me is just not up to it at the moment and I reckon he would be better playing wide.
We are still playing better than we were last season so all this gloom and doom is just bullshit.

Also while Dura was a bit unprofessional it was right thing to say, he well to compose himself as he did. I don't agree that neutrals would view it that way, I think they'd be more inclined to think GERONIMOOOOOOOO is a shit.
Its not just the officials though. Yeah the red card, and yeah the offside goal, but you teach 10th graders to play for the whistle, so it has to by asked why Leo stopped and just waved his arm at the lino instead of continuing on and putting in a challenge?
Also that first goal was shite from Paston. Another one of those 'cant be arsed' type goals that we see him concede too many of. Looking at the replay the ball rolled literally 2inches from him, looks like he couldnt decide if he wanted to block it with his foot or hand so clumsily threw out both when he shouldve just smothered it.

Agree with this - except the "gloom and doom" is justified when looking at the decisions that were made:
1. Brockie goal called offside - dubious
2. Neumann NOT called offside for Cassio's goal - blatant
3. Neumann milking a foul and Siggie getting red-carded - disgraceful
4. Durante yellow carded for having the audacity to let Ferreira run into him - pillock
Despite Adelaide having some very good passages of play, I think our football was not bad either - we are playing better then last season. Just need the match officials to match the level of professionalism of the players.

I just went to the Adelaide fans forum for a bit of a nosey. A lot of justifying the red card going on and several comments about how the ref was biased toward Wellington for the entire match.
