Regardless of who starts and the formation I just whoever is on the park to put their hands up and be counted. Hope it's not too much to ask this week.

I have been impressed by the effort the management have put in to try and get a big crowd. I have seen adverts all over town plus they are giving away free tickets to students who donate food items. Good stuff, hopefully it pays off and we get a big crowd

I  hope the weather forecast is wrong for Sunday...

I can't believe your city has free wifi on the Airbus.
That's my way of letting you all know I'm here, see those of you I know (and hopefully meet a few more) at the Back Bencher on Sunday.

I'm with you. Except prefer Crowther. The defense would have to stand up and be counted tho.

I'd rather see Brown and McKain together than the Nix losing 8-3

Don't know if we would concede 8 goals with that team. If Daniel and Lochhead were season 1 then we could be so attacking we wouldn't need defense and McKain would end up playing forward.  And then Costa might as well play on for Paston. Just Put sigmund as flying goalie.
Then we will easily win all our games

We need to get rid of Ricki unless he plays this formation

I wonder if Rikki will be brave this week and leave out brown and bring in any one of diego, lia or ferrante

Soundbite on radio this morning said "considering change in central mid".........Costa for Bown? or just Diego in?

Need to get more attack minded...

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

Only 2 changes to last week it is time to bring vince Lia back in, lose Lochead he has been ineffective. brown out Diego in. it iwll give us that extra control in the middle of the park we lost our way in this area with too many stray passes, a little more precision will put Greenacre more in the frame. He looks great my pick is he will our score smelz this season.
roll on Sunday!

I agree WRT Lochy. It seems to me he might be feeling rather comfy, that his position is safe, and that is contributing to his (relatively) poor performances. Getting dropped might just be a kick up the bum he needs to reach his potential.

If the Nix could catch whatever it is the YF fans at ROF have for home games, they'd blow away every other team in the A-League.

Keep it up, guys. I watch from afar (Auckland) and applaud your enthusiasm.

Don't think Ricki has the fire in him to pass in on so maybe we could get the yellow fever to do the pre-game and half time team talk, if they don't fire up after that we have a team of cadavers.

O'dear... it's O'Leary.

From memory, whenever we've had him, he's been so careful not to look biased toward us that we invariably get shafted.

Agreed and if Lia could push upwards on that right side from defense, then that would offer more than Muscat. Hope he can seeing as he is a natural midfielder.

Do this and If Lochhead could get some fire in him, then we could have Lochhead and Lia on either side with both the ability to push up the field even further.

Don't know if Lochhead has it in him though.
And don't know how convinced I am of Lia in Defense either

McKains midfield partner from the Jets game, Tim Brown, could miss Sundays match. The New Zealand international has a groin strain and a final decision on his selection will be made after the captains run on the eve of the Perth game.

Phoenix head coach Ricki Herbert said Brazilian creative midfielder Diego was a near-certainty to start against Perth, indicative of the Phoenixs attacking mindset.
