Gah this waiting is terrible. I've a goddam essay to write too. Any thoughts on Australia and New Zealand Defence Policy? Is signing Griffiths the solution to all our problems?

Lloyd Morrison is one of the main proponents behind the dreaded Wellywood sign ,good to see he has some common sense after all  !!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

ITS UP! Four seats at the table...

Yellow Fever member Guy Smith said today ushered in an exciting era for the club.

''Most of all I am relieved the club will continue and have a bit more stability than its had in the past six months because it is so important to the game in New Zealand.

''It is fantastic that there are these Wellington people, who aren't necessarily football fans, who recognise the value of the club and are willing to put their money up for the greater good of the city  just like Terry did.''

Mr Smith recognised it was a sad day for Mr Serepisos.

''I hope now that we can move on from his ownership people will give him the glory he deserves.''

They've said Terry relinquished the license. Acknowledging without Terry's vision, the nix would never have existed.
Permalink Permalink
over 14 years ago · edited about 5 years ago · History
Lyall Gordon says: "Terry has relinquished the licence" (i.e. jumped rather than was pushed) and is currently saying how great Terry has been, and how well he built the Nix brand, but that he hopes now Terry will be able to look after "other things in his life".

Gareth Morgan, the Big Kahuna himself, making a statement now: the Nix are staying in Wellington. New licence to a new company: "Wellnix Ltd" (I believe.)

"We are looking at broader development of feeder teams into the Phoenix". Does that mean working with NZF to get the ASBPrem organised better?
