He signed with our old buddy Ahsan Ali Syed? He must be the real deal so!

Yeah. Euro mafia. They all stick together. Probably why he couldn't hack it here in lil' ol' NZ

Hayne went to Aus state leagues and hasn't been near any other A-League side.  That hardly proves he's good enough to have been a Phoenix player.

Be fair- he'd be an foreign player if he was in the other A-league teams. But still yes...For mine the one that got away was Pearce- he's looked the goods, but never quite delivered or had/taken the chance.

They're looking at relegation from the Segunda now. Sinking fast.

Good God, NO!

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Next to a THANKS RICKI banner, we need a NO THANKS MIRON banner.

The problem isn't him being on the radio, it's the speak first, implications later method he generally uses.

Or else he may say something intelligent and give us an insight to the issues facing the club and his perspective on those issues. He may also give some indication of the process for hiring the new coach.  A strange thought I know.

Hey you bastards I'm still here.

Am I the only one thinking Gareth might come out and announce he is stepping down from the Welnix group so he can concentrate on other things like killing cats?

 Wishful thinking?

Hope so, less antagonistic than the rest..... so assume it sadly won't be.

That's a bit harsh. He does care about the club, just needs to be more careful in what he says. He needs to remember anything he says is taken as official statements from the club.

Agree with RR. Even after all he had said, iI would be 'guttered' if he were to leave Welnix now.

I wish everyone would just chill out over Gareth. You can sense that some people are just waiting to be outraged or offended or what ever. Some people need to harden up...he's entitled to his opinion, he part owns the club. I just hope everyone listens carefully to what he says and  do not let rip because of a sound bite that comes out of the media. Keep it in context.

Maybe we need to insert GM into the scapegoat flowchart somewhere. I actually think it's a bit sad that he's been distanced from the fan base through a couple of stupid little rants. Prior to that he seemed to be one of the owners most likely to engage with fans (in the zone, via his blog, twitter etc).

I for one will be deliriously happy if Gareth walks. He's an embarrassment.
