So, anything doing on the sponsorship thing?

Still unsure about buying a Phoenix top in case a sponsor makes it look better!

Imagine if sky did jump on board. Haha that would make them want to cover all the A-league

I know i'm dreaming but Burgerfeul with their nintendo-esque logo (rather than the full logo with the wings) would be pretty cool. Or maybe even nintendo, New Zealand is one of the few countries in which the Wii is basically a flop.

Pretty sure it is. It was trusting of them letting wobat into that strip as he was likely to take it home with him.
Pity I didnt get a shot of the scoreboard. Kingz 3 Chelsea 2  . The late Cam Jones had the game on video so I dont know whos got it now.

Ticketek CEO <name> said "The shirts will, worst case scenario, be available for the first game of 2010. Until then, the Phoenix players are free to pick up temporary shirts from Ticketek offices" He then went on to apologise for missing the ceremony, having got lost on route and ending up in Lower Hutt.

News just in from the Entertainment desk ....AC/DC Black Ice Tour organisers were very surprised and just a little perplexed at their Australasian Tour production headquarters in Pyrmont,Sydney  today.

An unexpected delivery of several hundred cartons from the AC/DC tour stage crew shirt sponsors Ticketek had taken over almost all of the production space available.
" For the 50 members of the local crew it was certainly a generous gesture on Ticketek's part," said a spokesperson for tour organisers.
" We originally ordered 3 plain black shirts each for on-stage work  but the new yellow and black stripes will certainly make the crew standout in the crowd...and the 350,000 shirts we got should last well into the next century!"
The unnamed CEO for Ticketek couldn't be reached for comment, but did leave a message from a payphone in Greytown that as soon as he found his way back to Wellington he would be in contact.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

With QANTAS as a major sponsor it wil be only either JETSTAR ( QANTAS) subsidary or QANTAS itself as airline  sponsors , so unfortunately Air NZ or Pacific Blue are unable to have their presence. With the financial crisis hitting averybody it is going to bloody hard to find a major sponsor for any sporting team  in any code.
I have heard that Sydney has SONY as a big sponsor, when was that deal initiated??
Lets hope that Tony P will get at least somebody.

Terrific news. Get in quick with the home shirts before they plaster some ugly sponsor logo over it haha.

Hopefully we will keep this kit for a few years, so next year I'd get the sposored shirts. I actually like both our new kits without sponsors names on them. One of each I guess but I might be heading for the divorce courts if this years effort is like last years from me.

Still reckon we should get JB-HiFi, an australian brand looking to make its way into the NZ market, has the right colours and there aren't any competitors in the league sponsorship... right?

Will be keen to see who we get.

How about Womens Day to attract more female fans to our games and also give us the inside scoop on any gossip within the club?? The mag could be sold with a  match programme within it's covers.

Might aswell get out the bright pink strip that that spanish team had a season or 2 ago (cant remember who now for the life of me)

Is anyone else like me just waiting to see who the sponsor is going to be before deciding whether to buy a shirt with out without the new logo's on it..?
