I'd be disappointed if we don't go for him and Rojas, even if we don't have a chance on the latter.

I would find it very hard to believe either Mini Mac or Mini Judas would consider playing for us next season.

Sure, no harm in making them an offer, but I'd rather we spent our time and effort in lining up potential (and possible/likely) candidates to fill the gaps in our squad first

Our style doesn't suit them... we are too direct and i'd like to think they have their eyes on bigger moves.

Marco was a good player for us.

Could build our style around them though

Yeah McGlinchey in front of Smith/Manny and feeding JB, Stein and Ifill...... sounds good to me.
Would still be surprised though.

Ricki never played him. And when he did he was rubbish because ricki is too defensive minded. And it's as a result of those rubbish performances that victory became interested and ricki let him go because he was stingy with his money.

Now it is Ricki who had the money troubles - grow up!

Sorry - just we lost him during troubled times. We need to accept this. People still go looking for someone to blame in the Nix group.

Move on and develop more home talent as we are now is the answer.

Even if we developed more young home talent, ricki wouldn't play them anyway. He's too busy playing Spanish journeymen.

Why hasn't he signed Clapham yet? Does he have something against gingers? Sure, they've got no souls, but if they can kick a football who cares.

Think he replaced stein?? and we thought he was having a ripper whereas Ifill looked spent at that point.

Also after rewatching, our "Shooooott!" calls to paston or anyone in space always sound like boos

I knew that from watching the Vukovic "shoooot" calls 2 seasons ago. Would go home and watch coverage of the games and always think how terrible it sounded.

It was interesting sitting in aisle 28 rather than in the FZ, people wondering why the FZ were booing when it was just the 'shoot' calls.

Not entirely sure he's the answer.  He's not bad, but in games last season he was posted missing a lot of the time to be honest.  I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, he struggles to have an impact for the full 90 and he sucked as a winger, but I think when he was playing centrally he was really good. Put him in the middle for Lia and then we can bring Lia on if we want to defend in the middle of the 2nd half, or Fenton/Totori/Boyd on if we want to attack

The worst part is that apparently we're right at the edge of the salary cap - so that team is being paid on average 150k.

Hope Sanchez playing the in middle of the park is a revelation, out wide just isn't for him. Something that was apparent to all except Coach Herbert.

Could be. I rate him in central midfield. Will be interesting to see how he goes. Was gutted finding out about his injury as was really looking forward to finding out if he could cut it in CM for us.

At least sanchez is an option that we have right now! not one that we might buy or have never seen play - we all know he is not a winger and struggled out wide last season - put him where he belongs in front of a mid 2 or 3 and let him feed the front men.

I would rather have Sanchez than Smith/Lia.

Me too. And this is coming from someone who thought Sanchez was pretty damn average last season (though, to be fair, he was largely played out of position)
