Cool! A 63 year old playing in the Premiership

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

sounds like a good signing! Yep, i heard some quiet approval noises and a beer being opened up in Mataataa

with probably 2  more to come - (from fronyt page story)  >> "Meanwhile, the Phoenix are continuing their search for a specialist right back and a strike partner for prolific season one scorer Shane Smeltz."  <<

Congratulations Terry, Tony and Ricki - the team is coming together brilliantly.
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

It's certainly going to be interesting to see what the starting 11 is and the formation.

Hopefully he's better at taking free kicks than the other so called 'dead ball specialist' Cassio.

Lay Lei Lei Gao

I'm guessing he wouldn't have marquee status ?

By my count, unless someone else departs the squad, we have 2 slots left to take us up to the 23 player max - the right back and striker Tony's mentioned they are on the hunt for. Maybe a marquee striker ?

Frankly, having no marquee seems quite likely. I don't see us needing one anyway, starting quality RB and striker will probably see our squad effectively complete.
