Is there any truth to the rumour that Reece Mastin is providing the Half Time entertainment?

Just a side note day 3 of the Test match between Black caps v South Africa is also on at the basin reserve. This may affect pax.

From the nix website
?

Stripey Sunday details coming soon!

The Wellington Phoenix take on league leaders Central Coast Mariners in the last home game of the regular season on Sunday March 25, kick off 4pm.

With finals places on the line both the Phoenix and Mariners will be going all out to secure their spots. Who will want it more? Get down to Westpac for the last home game of the season at a family friendly time of 4pm on Sunday afternoon.

There are also some big things planned for the day. Keep up to date with what will be happening on the day by checking this website and the Phoenix Facebook and Twitter sites.

We want you there to cheer the Phoenix to a home final.

I'm planning on heading to the cricket and then off to the Phoenix. Would be better if the game was at 5pm instead of 4pm, would have meant an extra hour at the Basin.

$25 for the privilege of throwing a plastic bottle of beer at Dane Rumble sounds like a bargain to me.

I expect a sell-out.

Clive Palmer has been on the phone to Dane's agents already asking if he can be a shirt sponsor...

There is a pretty sweet prize on offer:

Some lucky Phoenix supporter will win a trip to Europe to watch the sold out 2012 European Championship final in Kiev, Ukraine. The prize for two includes flights, three nights accommodation, tickets to the final including hospitality and $1000 spending money.

To enter, all fans need to do is send images of themselves going all in for the Phoenix in their official adidas Wellington Phoenix replica shirt a Stripey to phoenixcomp@adidas.com. Finalists will be posted on the Wellington Phoenix Facebook page with Wellington Phoenix adidas players Tim Brown and Leo Bertos selecting the winner. The winner must be at the game against Central Coast on Sunday March 25 to claim their prize.

I'm taking my flags to the cricket Patrick.

On the bank, on the Vic Tunnel side of the ground, up the back, square on to the wicket, by the Pohutukawa tree just to the left of the metal railings that go up the bank mid pitch. That's our usual spot at the basin. We'll be in stripeys.

Sweet, thats near where I usually sit also. I'll try and come up with something that I can put on the banner that relates to both the Nix and the Black Caps. Could be tough.
