My suggestion for a YF remedy is to watch the GCU match goals at least 5 times and come and make a big noise on Wednesday.

Greenacre might be unbelievable in training but he has yet to impress in a game and he's been mud tonight.  He's not inept he's just invisible.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Greenacre is just not fitting in despite his hard work. No one is linking with him.

piss off . playing top team, both teams attacking, good game, no disgrace to lose 3-1

Ugly wasn't a comment on the game, its been an entertaining game to watch, disappointing only because of loyalties. But we've been in it for 10 mins over the full 90 so in the scheme of things even to pull two back doesn't distract from the overall performance. Just didn't show up to play after the early interruptions. We'll be back on Wednesday no worries.

Now i've gotta go back to studying after a crap loss :/ Oh well, hopefully we'll do better against the Jets

Not sure why it's Greenacre's fault that our defence let in 3 cheap goals btw

And yet Barba comes on and links up straight away, almost scores from a header and then bangs one in off the cross.

For an experienced pro Greenacre's input has been weak.

Drop him, and start Costa.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

We conceeded 3 goals and of all the players on the pitch that played badly today you pick out Greenacre?

Certainly not his fault, but one clear dimension of the equation that does not seem to be paying great dividendsHarryHotspur2009-11-01 21:00:25

not the best game today eh?
i have to say. Bertos, Manny and Siggy all quite disappointing. and that's a pity cause they have all been excellent this year.
let's hope we'll pick up 6 points in our 2 consecutive home games starting on wed!

We have to start someone else. At the moment, Greenacre may be better off the bench and have Costa starting.

At least we didn't get hammered. Which i was sure was coming at half time. Short turn around. Bring on the Jets.

Move on I think.  Crap night at the office.  Sydney the much better side and seem to be the only team in the comp that know how to beat us.  Thank goodness for the chance to bounce back on Wednesday.  The most important two weeks in NZ football and all in Wellington, thank-you all who brought pro-football to Wellington.

We lost that game in the first half..our defence which has been staunch for a number of weeks let us down.. I reckon that penalty should of been allowed. 3-2 should of been the final result. as for our attack i reckon it was just as good. unlucky in some areas. better second half but as i said..we lost that game in the first half.

He has not fitted in for weeks, was my point. As for the defence . . . don't get me started . . .

No, not at all.

You'd have to single out Muscat as today's worst player.

But we have options in place of Greenacre and I'd like to see them get a run.  Otherwise I wouldn't change the team much next week.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Yeah we really need 6 points from the next two games now.
Bertos needs to get it sorted - started the season well but for about the last5 games has been nowhere.

dont single out Greenacre. Give credit to sydney's defence..they are at the top of the table.

You think about it, they score 3 and it looked like a 6-0 hammering coming up yet they did not take the foot off the pedal. And we held them goaless in the 2nd half and scored 2 ourselves (ok, one was disallowed). I think we came back ok and thank f**k we were not completely humiliated. Lonegunmen2009-11-01 21:05:10

F**k this. We came back at the end, but couldn't pull it off.

On a positive note though, Costa did well!
