Smith, Broich, Henrique and Meyer all out for Brisbane. If we are ever going to beat the Roar, this is the game to do it. Who knows, the Roar losing streak could be extended to 4 games by Sunday!

Sadly I've heard the same line before, key players missing and all but they still come out on top. Surprise me Phoenix! I want to believe, I really do.

2 more sleeps! Here's the schedule for the next couple of days:

TUESDAY
Dinner/drinks with MrsChan and ahmad and whoever else wants to come along. Will be some time after about 6pm. Please PM me your mobile number and I'll flick you a TXT.

WEDNESDAY
The Otago Cricket Longroom - Logan Park Drive JUST ACROSS THE ROAD FROM Forsyth Barr Stadium from about 5pm. Be there or, actually, just be there.

Post-match drinks will occur somewhere that we stagger along to in town that is open. Again best bet would be to contact me by TXT before the game kicks off and I'll update you on where we manage to find open after the match.

And please don't forget the Life Flight fundraiser! Tim Brown appreciates your support! (Told me so in person today).

For the "2" signs. I have been to Whitcoulls and bought the orange A2 cards. Then I used word and set the page size to A3, Selected Arial Font, Bold, And set the font size to 1200.

Printed the numbers, cut them out and glued them to the card. Looks perfect. Pic tonight from home.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

We will hold them up as the players walk out of the tunnel for maximum effect, and leave them up until just before the kick off. Hopefully this means we get onto the TV coverage, and someone can take a screencap.

No it was a chance meeting. I was walking up and down the street handing out flyers and telling people about the game. Offered one to Paul but he said he was already going

Later bumped into Paul again with Ange and took some photos. Cheers guys. Stay classy. I may have found my first second A-League team.

If Tsatalios fit and still can't make the squad this weekend with lochead out then he really is a waste of space.

I need some help from Feverites please.

I just realised I'm going to be in WELLINGTON on Sunday (first time I'll be in town while there is an away fixture happening).

I'll be in Newlands - what is my best bet for watching the game on Sunday night (7pm right?)

Squad is at the bottom.

No Tsatalios in the 15, instead Cameron Lindsay

Accurate?

Nah it's sh*t Maybe I shouldn't have lied to Dura as he bathed in sunshine in the Octagon and asked me if it was always like this in Dunedin.

Oops misread. Thought you had said you were off to airport now!

See you this afternoon. Don't forget Ahmad Taxis is on call this afternoon! Free for travelling Nix fans. Roar fans at my discretion :)

I'm not so sure about Griffiths at LB unless Ricki is only going to play 3 at the back, which I'm not so sure about either. Griffiths looks quite comfortable on the ball but Tsattalios is quicker, looks busier and it is his natural position. No idea about Lindsay, would be quite keen to see him get a spot on the bench for either Ward or Daniel assuming he is actually up to this level. If we do play Griffiths at LB I think it is vital to have some cover in case he struggles there.

Think of us, attempting to get served a beer in one of the "working class establishments in the normal fans area of Wellington Airport" while you get served complimentary prawn sandwiches whilst supping a designer beverage from a crystal glass in your Ivory Koru Club.

I trust you will be allowed to get on and off the plane first and have the attactive stewardess pander to your every whim, whilst we sit next to the toilet and have the "male trolley dolly" refuse us an extra packet of those cardboard veggie chips.

Looking forward to it! See you there!

This
According to the reports its Griffiths for LB. He has played there for Perth. He is an Ok player but looks to me more like a CB. Not really an  attacking down the line sort of LB. Maybe we are going to PARK THE BUS again. After the trashing they gave us last time in Dunedin Rickie might be going for saftey first.
If Tsatollis is not injured then this is a real slap in the face for him. He is a natural left back...if he is not rated as the number 2 behind Lockie and not even on the bench then he has a lot of work to do.
