Funny. I was just thinking the same thing about Roly in this half. Turns on it too much.

I am resigning myself to the fact that the absolute most we will get, is a draw.

Missed penalties are coach killers.

Roly and Reira are trying to do everything because have our team can't perform in their roles.

what was he meant to do there though? Had no options. Sure he fudgeed the pass but the momentum only stopped because he had no options. At least his first touch is always proactive. McG's hasn't been

Would have liked to see Sarpong head it in the net from 3 yards out rather than duck the ball.

I am not disagreeing with his work rate. Not at all. What I am saying is that when he gets the ball, he could shuffle it on a lot earlier and wants to try keep the ball at feet to have free space for himself. Its why he consistently turns 2-3 times on the ball to shake off the man on him when he would be better passing it on and keeping the flow.

Rodriguez was on his right on the touchline....... Make the pass rather than hoof it into left touch.

Ifilll used to play like that tho...but I agree it was one of the things that frustrated me last season

Its upsetting because we had all the possession, a pen, a red card our way and we cant even win. Very disappointing.

How do we expect to win any games if we cant stop their only two chances and we can score goals at all. Best phoenix side ever? We will see. I didn't think being angry and taking to my keyboard after this game is unreasonable.

Some worrying signs for sure, need to sort out the attack pronto.

So Powell is gone next week and probably Durante as well. I have question marks over Lia only because his nominated replacement (Rodriguez) did more in 20 mins than him.

Uh... the defense. Newcastle were poor. They got 3 chances all game and converted 2. The defense is more concerning.
