No Boyd in the squad list but Rufer is in. Using Boyd so they dont lose the televised Nix A instead?

seriously, what more does Boyd have to do? Starting to believe that rumour about him remaining out of the side due to not signing a contract.

Maybe hes hoping to do a Rojas/Kosta and scoot off across the ditch in search of better facilities

To give Boyd a run, you have to take off 1 of 2 players in red hot form. Krishna or Burns. What justification is there to do that? The only time you would is once you have won because otherwise you need these two to score (or McGlinchey but different type of player)

Boyd is more a victim of players in good form I believe and those two in good form are currently being needed to play major mins to help ensure victory.

Isn't the question him not being in the squad though, as opposed to not starting?

I think people are expressing surprise he is not making the bench, so that if Krishna, Boyd or WeeMac get injured her could come on...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Fair point. I guess its that old case of bench time at a high level or game time at a lower level. At the moment, I think he needs game time so am not too alarmed.

True, it is possible that is what is going on. But is it not possible for him to do both in some situations?

I do remember he was on the bench in Perth (I think?) then flew all the way back and featured for the reserves. He just seems to be out of favour, and I cant work out why.

Boyd may make the bench once Brokie leaves, but probably not before.

It could be that he would play for the reserves in ASB and have a proper game time. It would be harder to justify Kenny not being on the bench as he is an import and should be utilised too.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Boyd was an option as a goalscorer at the TAB this afternoon. Paying the same as Lia IIRC

Buying at the gate is never a better option than buying on-line.

Always cheaper, more so if you know a season-ticket-holder.
The main advantage is tickets can be sent to your phone or email and you'll be guaranteed to see kick-off, which is not a certainty if you're playing box-office roulette at the ground

Anyone got any free tickets?

Just had a really crap experience with ticketmaster:

This is my email to the club.

Hi I'm very angry about the service I have received.

I phoned up ticketmaster after having had issues with getting information from their website and getting some extremely poor service.

My query was this:

I have a 70 who is worried about the rain. I know Wellington has an indoor bar from which some patrons can watch the game and I wondered if there was anything similar at Eden Park.

He told me that there wasn't. He told me there were heaps of tickets available. He then told me to try the North Gold. This had not been available all day when I wanted to look at it earlier. I looked at it and it offered me South Gold as you can clearly see above.

This is clearly a ticketmaster problem.

The operator told me that he couldn't access North Gold, didn't know why (on the day before the game, as the main ticket seller). I asked to speak to his manager, He said there was no manager. He then told me this was my problem for calling 5 minutes before the end of his shift, which made me quite angry indeed. I think I called him a cheeky f- prick or something and asked for his name, in which case he hung up on me, presumably hoping I would go away and not cause him trouble.

Ticketmaster has no email on their website so I hope you are able to address this issue.

Thanks,

Martin
