R12 vs Melbourne Heart, Friday 9.30pm SS4

Matter of opinion. Personally I would say the away game against Perth Glory which we lost 4:2 was the low point for me. Perth were fast and aggressive and we did not rise to the challenge. We played a better game in midfield against SFC and they were slow, so our shortcomings in speed were not exposed as much as we were against Perth Glory. Hence it was a better game to watch for me as a partisan Nix supporter (and not as a neutral purist).

Can't complain about the way we're playing compared to where we've been. At least I can sit down tonight knowing there's a fair chance we'll go close to winning the game. Haven't felt that about any away games since the playoff run year. A good night for Brockie to come right - which I think he will. However no doubt we'll lose if we're gun shy again in front of goal again. Hearts passion will see us off.

Oh bollocks, its Moss' 50th game for the Nix. We never do well in milestone games, combined with the Melbourne hoodoo we are stuffed.

I am quietly optimistic about this game - past record, milestones, hoodoo etc. are about as reliable predictors of the next game as past Lotto results. I would say we have one factor against (Ifill out) but that should add motivation. Win it for Paul.

yeah I reckon we have a good chance to take this - the heart are woeful at the moment. And clearly the fans have given up - we need to be grinding them into the ground.

Maybe you should get out your voodoo doll, stab it a few times and then pray to the god of pixies on flying pigs :)

Just jinxed us by betting a decent amount of money on a Phoenix win at $3.10, and Carlos to be first scorer at $12.

Probably pretty stupid considering we are 0/15 wins in Victoria. I blame the 9pm kick offs, too much time to get boozed.

Must win this. Loose this and our season is all but gone.
