Don't think that is what Patrick meant.

it was agreed at the Hui that we'd trial it this season. So if the overall feedback at the end of the year is that it's not working then we'll stop.

The drum is to help keep rhythm so chants don’t suffer from other sections picking up the chant late.

This is not what is happening. Good on Patrick for taking on the role, however, it could be carried out better to assist in the chants, not hinder them.

I felt like I did a much better job in the second half on the weekend - first half was very much re-learning how it should work given the 2 month break between drinks.

Drumming when sober can be a bitch so I feel your pain.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

I like the drum. But I'm more far away.

You may use this bigger padded stick and/or mute the drum with something to give more of bass.

When did the forum descend into a massive bitch fest? Honest question I've not visited that often recently?

When the Nix keep losing, games went away for December and Ernie left.

I'd be blowing harder than a Catholic Choirboy to keep up with that tempo!?

Practice makes perfect. It's like any other skill we are learning. Do not let negative nellies stop your contribution.

You've not taken your seat at the games much for the last few seasons either!!!

1. I like the drum

2. I think Patrick would be better off with two drum sticks. But the efforts so far have been appreciated even if the source of some humour a few rows down fromm you Patrick. Not my row.

3. I am fudgeed off that it took ten years before those organisers at the stadium would allow us to bring in a drum.

4. Please note genuine football rattles made from wood are still banned and it looks like balloons might get banned too.

5. Can we please be allowed to bring in rattles, and instruments?

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Every match is pretty much a work night for me and the hassle getting to work afterwards just turns me off.

Just saw a tweet to Patrick from a WSW fan re Berisha missing the game against us due to his red card, and it reminded I meant to post here about the balloon eviction.

Somewhere, when this debate was raging, I sure there would have been Wanderers or Victory fans reading this thread, & thinking "About fudging time. The FFA have favoured the Fever for far too long. They walk to their stadium from the pub without riot police escorts, and casually walk into the stadium with their contraband balloons without needing to hide them from full-body & cavity searches. They've got away with dangerous behaviour and stormed the opposition zone with a conga. Let's hope this eviction is the beginning of a level playing field for A-League fans."

Also there was that nasty incident where some thugs smuggled in a bubble machine!

These Halfwits are ruining a perfectly boring trip to Westpac!
