Paracki has failed to track a couple runs now from the middle - needs to follow his player. He has to take some of the blame for that.

Was that missing until it hit Mullen?

Going to be a long, painful season (again...)

Surely we have our back 4 wrong here.  Doyle is all at see in the middle, as he is an out and out left back, Mullen can play in the middle and is on the right, and Galloway is on the left, but is perfectly capable of playing on the right.

It is a bit strange, but problem started in midfield.

Need one back before half time to have a sniff in this!

Looks like we're getting swamped, we don't seem able to put together anything in response.

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

Quite possibly.  Could conceivably credit him two (unfortunate) OG's.

That is certainly true.

Doyle and Galloway gotta sort out that left side

Maybe the coach decided having Galloway bombing on the same side as Roy wasn't a good idea, maybe hoping the midfield can cover the left side.

But what looks to be happening is Doyle is getting sucked wide sometimes or Goran is and if they can't stop the ball coming out of that area we are out numbered in the middle.

Also seems like Dario is playing very narrow.

It's been a fudgeing game and (not even) a half!

Sydney unfortunately just a class above at the moment, switched through the gears clinically from the 15-20 minute mark.

We have responded well after the goals but the defence is a nightmare!

Paracki has been decidedly less influential so far than last week - has barely had the ball.

The Phoenix in general have not had it in the last 20

Every time Paracki is available in midfield, we pass it back to the keeper. It's sharkting  me.

Paracki plays deep, we've had plenty of occassions where we could've played it to him.

Sucks that the people we actually want on the ball just aren’t getting it. Instead we have Galloway and Ridenton and Mullen who seem to be on it all the time, where are the others?

Sydneys passing ability is too much for our movement, regularly we are having 3 players pulled out of place by two sydney players passing it between themselves...

How many free kicks have we won this half... we seem to be getting lumped all over the park.

Phoenix just lack quality. No idea in the final third. Players like Krishna, McGlinchey are good players who don't deliver regularly.

add to that, that our forward movement is very static, we arent working off each other and those who are, are making the same runs.
Also, i think a-league defenders have figured out Roy. I'm not sure he wont be the threat he used to be as players now know what he is going to do

Reckon our problem starts at the back. Our forward line is good enough; just barely have had the ball in good positions. Krishna has to drop into the middle of the park just to get a touch.

For all this talk of better stucutre, I still feel like a lot of players are probably out of position.
