@charliecPIM Hi Charlie. We're aware that there is currently an issue with the ladder on our website. We really dont want to have the Wellington team 4 points in front. We hope to have this resolved asap.

Funny they have an issue with the website when we go 4 points clear

Damn, WSW are playing the same ground on Wednesday, and the weather's not forecast to improve. They'd better bring their snorkels.

The commentators said late in the game there was a possibility of that fixture being moved to the Gold Coast already.

Probably a good idea. The pitch looked crap even before the rain.

The results of the other games were almost perfect for us this weekend.

Phoenix top of the league and winning their last 3 away games vs Melbourne A/Perth/Brisbane, NZ unbeaten and into the semi in the cricket world cup... what the hell is going on!

We must be living in some weird paradox of time.  I'm liking this reality.

The thing that annoys me is that the way Brisbane fans are carrying on is like they were leading and were gonna win and they were playing better and that they were robbed. They should be happy because we could have pumped three more in the way we pick up towards the end and based on how poorly their defenders were playing. We still had to be up 2-1 at the 70th minute away from home, especially going a goal down first. Well deserved.

The Roar fans would be asking for the game to be replayed 'cause they wuz robbed - the ref did not give them a fair cop.

To which I would say "Now you know how we feel most of the time".

Actually, getting outplayed quite a bit these days

So the rules stated that the score at the time of abandonment is the result, not HT. Considering Roar had a free kick not far out when the ref called it is fairly harsh. Great call!!

Anyone else not get paid out on their bets from TAB? I had PHNX 2-1, Phoenix/Phoenix and Krishna Goal+Phnx Win. They refunded my money for the first two bets and have "Not winner" for the last. States in their terms and conditions:

Match betting is conducted according to Normal Time unless otherwise stated. If a match is abandoned, bets will be Void unless a result has already been determined.

'unless a result has already been determined' surely means you should get paid out.

I mean that's there to stop someone planting a bomb at the stadium to influence the result. This is nature so it should stand.

It's poorly worded too, what is their definition of 'abandoned'? I'm pretty sure they mean 'no result' but keep it ambiguous enough that they can not pay out bets when they want to.

If they aren't paying out to you for your 2-1 bet, then ask them if they are refunding bets on everyone who had a different scoreline to 2-1, if not then they have no argument at all and should be paying out.

yeh and surely if "bets are Void" they should be refunding Krishna Goal+Phnx Win too. Cheeky buggars. Oh well ill let them know.

He said they did refund on those. I still think they should pay him on the 2-1 though; for any very close decisions they should err on the punters side otherwise it just opens things up for them to manipulate close payouts as they wish.

There are many online bookmakers who offer far better odds than the NZ TAB, so considering they offer terrible odds to start with they shouldn't be giving themselves more of an edge. They should just take the hit on results like this, they can afford it and it's a good business decision considering customers can (and should) go elsewhere.

They had Phoenix at $3.30 to win in Brisbane, those are decent odds.

It looks like they paid out my bet for Phoenix to win, but will double-check again later.

The Phoenix have now earned 97 away points in their history (Sauce: http://www.ultimatealeague.com/standings.php?season=all)

A win away to Heart City on the 12th of April would bring up 100 away points.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.

You hear them say "Ernies not happy" and then the ref calls it without argument.  I found that quite funny.

That's respect.

And Durante is arguing "What do you mean we're done, we're winning 2-1 at the 70th minute." Didn't realise we had won.

Twas just scrolling through the FB posts from last night when I came across all these posts on Wellington's, Brisbane's and the A-league page from some guy claiming to be a phoenix fan claiming we were getting dicked and the game ending was unfair. Turns out after a mere two second sleuthing of his profile he lives in Brisbane likes all the Brisbane fan pages and doesn't like a single Wellington page. Absolute joke

Well ive been on the phone to TAB all morning. Looks like they arent going to pay out and are just going to refund some bets and not others even though it clearly states in their terms and conditions that they should be paying out.

15.13 Football (a) Match betting is conducted according to Normal Time unless otherwise stated. If a match is abandoned, bets will be Void **unless a result has already been determined.** http://static.tab.co.nz/content/pdf_form/tab_rule...

and in the acttab terms and conditions also owned by Tabcorp:

10.1.8.2 If a soccer match is officially called off prior to its scheduled conclusion and **an official match result is declared by the relevant recognised governing body, relevant bets will be determined on that result.**

https://www.acttab.com.au/sites/default/files/Tabc...

Ill be closing my account and taking my money elsewhere.

(Still im happy enough with just the win though)

Well they have to pay up on a result or final score bet, that’s clear from your quoted rule.
