pretty convincing against the most probable wooden spooners.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Its not a game in Wellington unless Patrick is on TV -and there he is right at the end

Happy days - a comfortable, largely stress free win, lots of goals and some really nice footy.

Which is something we should remember. The game against the Victory next week will tell us where we are. It's difficult to argue with that performance though.

Wow. Roly was amazing today. He was a 1 man press at times but did a great job. Not to mention mcglinchey and burns. We have signed some great players this year. A-rod with a great free kick at the end aswell. Not to mention durante. Back to his best it would seem

Can't really argue with Burns' stats 2 goals and an assist for MOM (could have had 4 goals) - This guy is exactly what the Nix needed. He's fresh, fast and has a great touch and most importantly can score goals.

Roly was outstanding and any other day would have had MOM.

Great game.

Burns was great but Roly my MOM. Immense. We are getting better every game!

Does anyone know who hit that quick through ball down the middle to set up our 2nd goal? that was magical

Roly seems everywhere. Great find. A bit disappointed with our failure to score through burns then conceding one, but hey it happens. We really need to stop putting Lia on, he cost us a point against perth and put in the most baffling cross to try and help newcastle get one back.

He put a great ball through to set up the 3rd goal though.

Very happy with the way we played. The Jets, I thought, were actually half decent at holding the ball, but we outplayed them from the get-go (even though had the Nut Grabber scored in the first 1' things might have turned out differently)!

Great to see Roly starting to find his feet in midfield and also how well Brockie-Burns-Wee Mac combine up front! It's a pleasure to see them combine together. Now we just need Brockie to find some confidence and to star scoring regularly and we will have a great season!

If I were to find some [mild] negatives with the game I would say: the way we defend crosses, how we sometimes give away possession in the MF when in fact we could keep the ball and the losing that clean sheet in the last few minutes... But these are all things Eddie (I mean Ernie) can work on at training. Big game next week. Let's hope we return from Victoria with some points in the bag.
