If we can improve upon our performances of the last couple of weeks. We are a good chance to get a win today.

Would like to see a faster transition game with quicker passing movement.

Wish list

-Clean sheet. Improve those soft defensive lapses

-Score at least two goals. Start to turn our chances into goals

- Build confidence. Be great to see Ball and McCowatt on the score sheet.

COYN.

sotorio to the bench, mccowatt up top will ball and Piscopo starting on the left. Would like to see Hooper start, but unlikely so will go with the above.

I would like to see our defenders marking opposition players in our own box. It's much better than giving them space and time to score by running back to goal-line. Would like to see McCowatt given a shot up front with Ball and Piscopo in left attacking midfielder. Wouldn't mind  Payne given a shot in starting Xl as well.

City are usually very good at  home; but we won't have a better chance to beat them than today. COYN.

I've had 3 bad results thus far and am expecting a City win.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

City have Berenuguer, Delbridge, Maclaren, and Windbichler out realistically we should be winning these types of games

Expect McCowatt to shift up alongside with Ball, and Piscopo on the left.

Wins aren't far away and if we don't concede dumb goals, we have a good chance tonight.

But have no show if we're shakey again at the back.

I'm still unconvinced by Piscopo; he doesn't seem too disciplined in possession + off the ball so will be interesting to see how he goes in that spot. Cal has tracked back very well.

Looks like there'll be thunderstorms which could impact on the quality of the game.

If only that were so. Unfortunately Brenton Speed is coming through loud and clear.

Rufer, Steinmann, DeVere and Taylor are all terrified with the ball so far - absolutely no build up from the back, just long ball

Got crowded out pretty quick. Better from the Nix though. Good run by Piscopo in the lead up too.

Some of these giveaways from Steinmann and Rufer are infuriating

Rufer has no confidence to pass forward

I don't really understand what theyre doing as there is a tonne of space still where they should be covering as well

Did Libby get a two game ban?

I saw him at the Team Wellington game and it didn’t even register that he wasn’t with the squad.
Only realised once I saw he wasn’t on the pitch right now.
