I was going to suggest that someone send a mail direct to the Phoenix but just tried to get to the Phoenix website to get the email address and get a "Server Too Busy" error. Probably loads of people trying to complain already.

They better be here tomorrow.

Thanks Guys I have read with interest all the above.

If season passes were ordered this week then unfortunately you will not get them in time for this weeks game . A hard ticket will be given and you will have a seat allocated. For those who will be given hard tickets, Ticketek will call you to see if you are happy with the seat they have allocated. If you are not happy you can select a different seat.

Also another batch of season passes has been sent today.

Keep me informed of what nis happening and I wilol try an answer your questions.

okay, so for those without season tickets (but have paid for them), do we roll up to the Stadium ticket office pre-match on Sunday (on the way to the Back Bencher) and get issued with a ticket / pass to get admission to the match?

If this is to happen, could some kind person brief the ticket sellers so they know they can issue substitute tickets to season ticket receipt holders?

Might save some animated discussion on the day ....

Or does anyone know who I should contact to make this happen?

The word from Ticketek is that you roll up to the pre-order desk on the concourse on the way to the stadium and show ID, which they presumably match to their list of those who've paid, and then you can pick up temporary tickets for the day.

I paid for my season tickets in mid July and have received nothing - first they tell me they are sending out forms for me to fill in - the they tell me they are sending out the tickets - but nothing. What a mess!! Ticketek clearly do not know what is going on - when will they be issuing refunds!

I emailed them today and they replied a couple of hours later saying I should have mine Friday...

How's my driving? - Whine here

Surely Tony P, has to make this problem his number 1 priority (I happen to have mine, so it's not self interest talking).

I just think it's a bit of a looming PR problem - we (i.e. the club) can't afford to make it difficult for people to get  into football matches in NZ -some of them might not come back.

It might help if we knew for sure that Ticketek and the club were saying the same thing.

All the best with this Tony.

I call the first morning and no one knew they had the tickets for sale.
Rang back at 1.30 same day still no idea
15 July turn up at office 45 min to get sorted
And they still do not know how to sort it all out.

Rang today 2.45 Tickets being posted tomorrow standard post, after listening to message advising "if you are waiting for tickets- courier, allow 2-3 days- Post allow 3 - 5 days.

Call from home 4.30, wrist bands for one game arrived with letter advising to turn up with wrist band or ticket togain entry.

Heres hoping something goes right Sunday.

Mine still haven't arrived.. they could at least let us know now what to do come sunday if our tickets do not arrive

Permalink Permalink

Sorry forgot the best part if tickets do not arrive by Friday our call centre is open till 8 pm so just call.

What do they all think we have been doing over the last month. Because there standard line is we will call you back, which never happens. YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM.

Roll on phones with molecular transfer options, then we can send more than words through the phone.

i've been intouch with ticketek and phoenix and have been assured that the last of the membership tickets were sent out today... so you should get them tomorrow or friday!

Frutrating (especially as i'm waiting on season tickets for 16 of us!) but once they turn up i'll be looking forward to the game and forgetting that it was ever a problem.

anyone watching England v Germany at the backbencher in the morning? 7am kickoff.

I live in a street where the postie only delivers every 2nd Saturday so he does not have to walk 1 street twice. Lets hope it our turn this saturday. Because the mail usually takes 3 days from the date of NZ post franking in Wellington eastern suburbs.

I had a message left on my phone (still not got my passes). Apparently - if I understood message - there will be a separate booth on Sunday for those who have not rec'd season or normal tickets by then....But don't  quote me on that!

The message also advised that mine were with the first batch that were printed and dispatched....

Yeah they told me that too. Sounds a likely story.

I assume they told everyone that then hurriedly arranged the season passes and sent them out today.

Although I won't be surprised if nothing turns up after this carry on.

They have the service fee - so don't worry they get to keep it even if we all cancelled our passes.

Just checked Oz A League site looks like ticketek have the monopoly on sales, Perth is the only one useing Ticketmaster.

You have to wonder how Ticketek manage with ticketing for a major event - 7s, Lions Tour, Rugby World Cup - I bet they have no ticketing issues with Rugby.

I received an eMail response from Ticketek today - the 9 season passes that I paid for on 18 July 'should' be with me on Friday - I wonder which Friday they have in mind!!

I would like to thank the kind forum person who pointed me in the right direction to obtain my season tickets in a timely manner.Left a message this morning and they responed very quickly.

Thank you again below is the number that was posted a while back hope this helps for anyone else

Contact phone number for Vienna is 04 3842347

She is actually the stadium membership co-ordinator but seems to have ended up with the job of dealing with the memberships 'cos no one else at Ticketek seems to be doing it. She is very nice and very helpful so if you do call her please be nice to her - it's not her fault things are chaos.

Ticketek is the biggest shambles since me when I first started high school and had to tuck in my shirt, wear a blazer and a tie (and believe me, that was really bad).

You're welcome. Glad some of the stuff posted on the forum is useful

I know that the season ticket thing is a complete mess but rather than complain to each other (we already know its bad!) how about complaining to the Phoenix email address and just keeping the forum for useful stuff?

By the way, Ticketek have contracts with certain venues so any events held at those venues have to use Ticketek. So its not like the Phoenix got much choice ...this time around anyway.

Here's hoping for a convincing win on Sunday!

haven't received my season ticket, but today received (in the post) an ordinary ticket for Sunday's game - with a note saying that if the allocated seat is unsuitable I could change it before the season ticket is sent out.

Isn't that nice

Try before you buy - oh, I've already paid, but it's the thought that counts
