You're welcome. Glad some of the stuff posted on the forum is useful

I know that the season ticket thing is a complete mess but rather than complain to each other (we already know its bad!) how about complaining to the Phoenix email address and just keeping the forum for useful stuff?

The problems is we have all tried complaining to them but it does not change anything. They just give us the same line.

Spoke to a nice Irish chap re tickets today. Seems there are about 20 or so groups who have not received tickets.

The "problem" seems to be that we asked for each ticket to have an individual name (rather than all tickets in one name). These orders were put aside and forgotten.

We will not get our season tickets in time for this Sundays game. Paper tickets will be available on the concourse - in the little building slightly towards the city from the turnstiles - apparently there will be a window dedicated to season pass issues. The tickets will be available from midday on Sunday

I suggest you take your order number as well as ID - it may pay to ring tehm tomorrow though.

Best of luck.

Told to pick my season ticket up at the ground on Sunday - so was everyone else at the Ticketek outlet when I was there so I'd say it is more common than not.

That group booking debacle sounds like me. Terry - expect a knock on your mansion door on Saturday if they havent come by then. I applied on the first day!

No tickets again today - and I have had no advice about a special ticketing booth on Sunday.
I tried calling Ticketek today and ended up on hold for about 20 minutes before giving up - looks like plenty of Phoenix fans were calling.
I guess I will just have to try my luck on the day
Have they made any asurances about issuing proper season tickets next week [for those of us who have to queue on Sunday] ??

After buying a season ticket on Monday. I never got my call from them. But today i received a ticket for Sundays game only and a note that tells me that if i want to change this seat i can before Wednesday next week.  It also says after Wednesday my membership will be allocated and delivered.

Have spoken to Ticketek and here is the update.

If you have not received your season pass by today you will need to pick up a ticket at the Ticket Pick Up booth on the concourse from 12pm. Please bring your ticketek receipt and I.D.  There will be four windows open.

Thanks for your patience

We bought our season passes at the booth at the stadium on Aug 10th and were not given a receipt - if our tickets do not arrive today what happens to us (we have our wrist bands for the lounge tho!)?

You will need to pick up a match ticket from the Ticket Booth on the concourse to get you in the stadium.

I have to say that Ticketek have come across as a bunch of unprofessional monkeys...

I've had to repeatedly ring them just to be able to buy tickets for my group of mates.

Obviously no tickets have turned up yet & all 15 are being sent seperatly to my house...
I was also told that they'd forgotten the ticket for 1 of my group....

As i called up, I was given no receipt, no order number bu the CC has been hit for the cash....

Looks like I'm joining gthe concourse queue on Sunday...

Once we get over this, Ticketek will have a lot of explaining to do. We have only 1500 members. Imagine if we had 10,000???   Rest assured it will be sorted.

seems to me that the the way Ticketek use the  term 'service' fee is the same way as when Farmer Giles uses it ...

when he says he's going to get his cows 'serviced' by Farmer Brown's bull

How Ticketek have the gall to charge an exhorbitant service fee is beyond me.  Their service is abysmal!

Bought 2 x Adult, 3 x Junior gold season passes nearly 6 weeks ago. As of Friday still nothing had arrived.

Tickets were bought along with a friend who purchased 3 x Adult, 2 x Junior gold season passes.

So in total, 5 x Adult, 5 x Junior gold passes - that's quite a bit of money and by Friday morning we not only didn't have the tickets, but had no idea where we'd be sitting.

When we contacted Ticketek, they advised our season passes would be sent out after Sunday's game and we would have to get our tickets at the ticket booths on Sunday.

They expected a group of people that had shelled out for numerous gold season members passes to then stand in the bloody wind and cold with kids ranging from 2 to 10, for tickets they should have received weeks ago. I don't bloody think so.

My mate arranged for Sunday's tickets to be ready for collection at the St. James theatre on Friday, so we managed to pick up a set of match tickets then.

Talk about a crappy service. A truly, piss poor crappy service.

I'm not sure I'm even confident at this point that my season ticket will be there when I go to pick it up before the game - I don't know how why this has been handled so badly but it doesn't encourage people to buy season tickets.

dont get me wrong here lads but $180 is cheap for a phoenix fanatic like myself..but how many people are there like us in wgtn?

teams like man utd, chelsea etc can charge rediculous prices because there is excess demand for tickets.the phoenix on the other hand are new and the demand is not there yet.we are better off having cheap tickets season 1 and getting as many people through the turnstiles so we can and give them a taste of the game then come season 2 look at increasing prices. We are hopingfor  15,ooo today but how many people are gona be there mid season for a standard game at $23.If we had cheap tickets its attractive for those on the fence and we get good numbers at each game which flown onto being more attractive to sponsors and is better for us fans who would rather 15000 people rather than 4000 fans per game.  i am in the industry and can tell you revenue from gate takings is not that flash once everyone takes a cut from the takings...lets just focus on geing as many people behind the team as possible.we dont want to be like the knights and have 2000 season ticket holders at the game plus 500 walk up crowd.

Those are my thoughts anyway.  Either way i hope we do bloody well today and im sure its gona be a great day!

Truly apalling Danny and Zephyr.  I think the club needs to go with another service provider as Ticketek are woefully inept.  5 Gold season passes ordered 6 weeks ago and nothing received up to date is truly pathetic service.  If I was the Membership Co-Ordinator I'd be giving Ticket a right roasting and searching for alternatives to Ticketek as they are totally and utterly hopeless!  I ordered my Gold season membership on 2 July and received it on sat 18/8/07, so I'm really glad that I got in early. I feel for you guys.

if someone, ANYONE, started a new organisation that handles tickets/passes etc, ticketek would be out of business and the new organisation would be raking it in
I like tautologies because I like them.

Just to add my voice to the ticketek hate crowd, I went to TSB Arena to buy mine, and was told after much debate with the infantile moron there that he 'couldn't sell me tix in the YF section' and that I would have to go to Opera House (he actually said MF Centre, which is being renovated, muppet).

Arriving at the Opera House they said that they didn't even realise there was a YF section until a few hours previous when someone else had tried to buy tickets there.  They assured me that pimple-face at the TSB Arena could have sold me the tix, but he was clearly a numpty f*ck.

I could have told them that.

And then they have the gaul to charge me a 'service' fee for their lack of service.

Pricks.

This could easily send the Phoenix the way of the Kingz if not sorted out asap.

Guy.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Like Ticketmaster or Ticketdirect?

I'd love to see either organisation (pref. the former) handle the Phoenix next season, but I think Ticketek has ticketing rights to all events held at the Ring of Fire Second choice - I'd like to see Ticketek pull finger

We appreciate your efforts!

I bought 9 tickets on 18 July, and after repeated phone calls to Ticketek was given at least three assurances - 1 in an eMail - that my tickets would be there Friday. No Tickets on Friday. My seat numbers were provided to me in an earlier phone call, and a booking number PHX445. l called three or four numbers on the Friday before the match - Ticketek website, Phoenix website, Yellow Fever forum and white pages - nobody was available to talk to me about ticketing issues. I finally got a phone call from an Irish guy [Seth ??] at Ticketek St James centre telling me that my tickets hadn't been printed - I was 1 of 25 groups that missed out. I was to go to the special booth and present ID and get my 9 passes [as per my season ticket booking]. I arrived at the special ticket booth at 3:16pm today, and found that the queue was several hundred people. I got to the window at 4:11pm [after queueing for nearly an hour and missing the start of the match]. I managed to get an envelope with my name on it and nine tickets - we then went to our seats only to find they had been sold to someone else - Ticketek are double dipping!! I checked the tickets for the people that were in our seats and they were my seats!

What do I do now ? I can't see how Ticketek can not only fail to print and issue season tickets - but then to sell my tickets to cash buyers as well - that is way over the top!! We can't have season ticket holders being treated this way.

I wil be calling ticketek tomorrow to complain - again - but honestly they are worse than useless!
