Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

A salary cap can make it harder to retain talent however. As players get better, they demand raises, and the cap may not have flexibility needed to allow them to stay. Imagine if everyone on the Roar team demanded a pay-rise after such a fantastic year. Some will have to be turned down, which means some may leave - including some talented players who may be harder to replace. I don't have the numbers but I'd imagine salary-capped leagues have higher turnover than non-capped leagues because of this. Consistency thus comes from the ability to replace departing talent, a problem increased by the presence of a salary cap.
That being said, I'm still 100% pro-cap.
Still you can't beat bricks.

Auckland will rise once more
The biggest positive is that despite all the negatives we have actually made the finals and a few teams like Sydney would have taken that
In terms of doloras I suspect her biggest positive is that we haven't signed any south africansAucklandPhoenix2011-02-16 22:46:13

I certainly don't think that. A good SA footballer would be black, and I have absolutely nothing against black South Africans.
