Got 'em!

Same as Arnies, two sent to one address and one to another.  Odd.

Is that including members that haven't got tickets? Because the two numbers may be quite different

Renewed membership in June. No tickets as yet. Just rang Ticketek ( 5th call) ; a lot of the season passes  have had to be sent again to the printers because of a cock up. I suppose this could be the case ; I've had that excuse the last 3 calls. They were lightning quick in charging my credit card though . Maybe by the Sydney game but I won't be holding my breath.

Still no news on the number of memberships sold
Around 3k. Get your mates and everyone you know on the bandwagon. 3,500 would be nice.

that is terrible - weren't we about 2k in the first season? With the success of the team last season and the hype from the world cup, I would have expected around 5,000

I think we will seehighercrowds this season- especially if we get off to a good start results wise and get some momentum going.

However it's a big leap for many from attending a few more games to committing to a season ticket. It may take another season or two to convert more frequent attendances to a season tickets.

Although I think the prices are very reasonable it is still a not insignificant sum for many to pay out in one go and taking kids to games isn't cheap (food and drinks). There are also still plenty of peoplewith job uncertainty, battling businesses etc.

P.S. If we have increased from 2.5k to 3.0k that's 20% - not to be sneezed at. I bet Wellington rugby would be more than happy with any increase.

the other side of the coin is that only 500 people who live in Wellington and attended the Bahrain game and/or the finals series last season thought that they are committed enough to get a season ticket.

A good start to the season will see decent crowds continue all year, but a poor start to the season could have us back scrambling around for 7,000 for home games, with the club losing money each week (especially if we get the marquee player everyone is craving).

Last night was a crowd of 8.5k - anybody disappointed by this?

(YF making good noise as usual)

yes I was,  especially since it was a Saturday night and the weather was ok (until it started raining towards the end of the game).  But really.  We've not had a crowd over 10k yet.

Not quite sure where to post this, but this blog makes for an interesting read just after the 442 article announcing kids under 15 free for the Jests (and we have our kids free day in January).

Fortunately we are not at the stage that the UK/Europe is and there does seem to a good crop of young fans. Let's hope the A-League stays afloat long enough for these kids to pass it on to their kids...

My Benchwarmer pass arrived!  Took quite a while, but then they did have to post it a fair way.
