Very insightful

[quote=Minor Threat]I'm a person just like you
But I've got better things to do
Than sit around and f**k my head
Hang out with the living dead
Snort white sh*t up my nose
Pass out at the shows
I don't even think about speed
That's something I just don't need

I've got the straight edge

I'm a person just like you
But I've got better things to do
Than sit around and smoke dope
'Cause I know I can cope
Laugh at the thought of eating ludes
Laugh at the thought of sniffing glue
Always gonna keep in touch
Never want to use a crutch

I've got the straight edge

Pretty sure the "X" represents England's St George cross....it's related to Greenacre and Ifill who were profiled as "the English strike force" at the start of the season.

Just Tim's way of giving them a bit of sh*t because when he scored that goal he'd scored more than either of them.  Good to see them rise to the challenge and get one each as well to draw level on four apiece.

It's good to see Tim scoring goals regardless. i hope he continues to do so. it's really making a difference for us this year.

Well done Tim! A couple on Sunday and a couple the following Saturday please.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

surely he should have done a cross (+) instead of an X then????  The X is more like the scottish St Andrew (I think).  Tell him to sort it out.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

his consistent goals are really terrific and he seems very confident on the ball now. Really hope he can take that approach next Sat and just hopefully create a similar partnership off Elliot. Would be really great.

I thought it was because X is the symbol for a strike in bowling...but maybe it isn't that clever.

If he's invisible how do we know if he's resurfaced?

Its no longer a problem.

Perhaps someone who knows Mr Brown well enough could ask him and then we could start a new thread about............

How come the team is always allowed to play towards the Yellow Fever in the second half?

I think its just a general rule in the A-League that you play towards your fans in the second half. There is a coin toss but the players don't take it too seriously.

There was a real good thread a year or two back, on the stats of proporton of goals scored at home playing to or away from the fever end. Anyone have a link? Updated stats? Was very intersting.

Although come the All Whites they wont know where to score, will be a ring of nose.
Oh Wellington is wonderful. We got the wind, the rain and the phoenix. Oh Wellington is wonderful.
