HAHAHA love it but dont love the brownie hating things and in the all whits its fine what was wrong with sigmund and leo covering that area? seemed to work with us not conseding a goal in two crucial games to send us to the WC!
[/QUOTE]
Fair enough Shogun, it worked for the game on Sat night. But we were very lucky in the first leg and there's no way it will work against the likes of Spain at the WC.

and playing him in the right of defence will work against spain? Thats a misleading thing to say as fact is,nothing will work, but what ricki has to find is "what works best"

What would you suggest instead? I did openly say that if Elliot had of been fit that Brown shouldve been dropped for McG by the way. But since Elliot was out,it was clearly the best option.

In a attacking sense it only works if we do it like we did it on sat night with leo really firering up front and at back in manama it was kinda weak with no bertos getting up it kinda switches to a 442 and back to 343 throughout the  game but i do like it

Yea I like the flexibility of this formation and I like to see Bertos up and taking a man on than holding back trying to play defensively. He played well on Saturday when he was keen to attack.

At Least 5 A League games live every week. That's impressive.
You must tell us the times that you watch more than 5. That would be even more impressive

I know, I know, its serious!

Midweek games make it entirely possible to watch more than 5 A-League games in a week, and then there's replays.
You know we belong together...

Firstly, I am not your friend, because if I was you would know that I don't say things I don't mean.
Secondly this is what I will be watching LIVE on Fox sports this week-end.
All times are Qld times.

Friday 7pm   Adelaide v Gold Coast
Sat     6pm   Brisbane v Melbourne
Sat     8pm   North/Qld v Central Coast
Sun     4pm   Newcastle v Wellington
Sun     6pm   Perth v Sydney

EPL. Liverpool v Man City Sun 10pm
Man. Utd v Everton   Mon 3.30
Will probably one watch one of these.

So which comments can't you take seriously?

He did say live games though ... And, if you look at it Saturday to Saturday, there might be two on the first Saturday, two on Sunday, then two next Friday. Makes it entirely possible.

what on earth should he apologise for?

if leggy had instead said "i watch every a league game live", then he may possibly have had a little credibility.

Yes, I'm sure that's what you meant but when you say "at least" it sounds as if that is the minimum number you watch and that sometimes it's even more than that.

I don't expect that, however people who make stupid comments should engage brain before saying things that they know nothing about.

Im guessing that the players must hope they get one of these threads at some stage in their Phoenix career because it means
1/Some of the fans are at least watching what they do.
2/Gives them something to read before going to sleep at nite.
3/If its like many of these similar threads in the past it means the named player is heading towards some form.

Take away his goals and we arnt looking so good.
