Is he Samoan? Some of those pacific island nations can get work permits in England fairly easily.

Rover's lost the first leg of the final, 4-0 to Chelski. Payne got subbed on in the 82nd minute. The 2nd leg is at home, on May 9th.

Payne was handed the Blackburn Rovers captains armband in the 2-0 win over Reading in the U-21 Premier League.
Quite a honour to get, must indicate he's in their future planning.
I had hoped by now he might of made a sub appearence, hopefully when the FA Cup starts, he'll get given a chance.

that was suppose to include a ?. perhaps thats whats going on seens he got a squad number?
When he was given a squad number I thought he might start getting called up to the bench. Haven't seen him on it yet.
Used to be regular posters talking about the reserves on the forums but they seem to have disappeared. Only could find 1 comment about him from Jan, saying the person doesn't think he is ready and may never be. But you never know, was a few people that didn't rate Phil Jones for the reserves and he didn't turn out half bad.
Didn't play in the latest Reserves game, probably due to a number of first team players recoverying from injuries getting game time.

They have such a massive squad especially since they signed so many random portugese players. needs a year on loan to a league one side. staying in under 21s may just stifle him IMO.
