Worth noting that those photos have also been liked by Polish defender Jakub Rzezniczak.

And we thought Kalezić was hard to rhyme.

31 year old centreback with 9 caps for his country, currently plying his trade for Azerbaijani powerhouses Qarabag who were in the UCL group with Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Roma last season; gave them a good contest too. Previously spent thirteen seasons at Polish powerhouses Legia Warsaw, where he was a stalwart making 249 league appearances. However, he’s only one year into his two-year contract.

No links to the club that we know of, one to keep an eye on!

Articles about him online says he played a role in his club signing the Icelandic international goalie, so possibly a bit of a dick move if he does bail on him.

Good find, yeah I really don’t think this one will happen. Having one year left on his contract kills it for me. However i’m waiting to receive my medal if it actually goes through :)

Good luck, all my discoveries last year were flops

same. I was dead certain we were gonna sign this Ukrainian bloke but when I asked him he said he had no idea but he was looking for a club and asked if I had a contract for him. Bit awkward

Obviously was thinking about Reece Caira when typing it out, the a & i are around the wrong way https://goo.gl/Ho9rzz [Edit: oh, its a forums autocorrect doing it cuz it changed my original link]

Not sure if he was suggesting him as a new target tho, its definitely Steven Taylor that PROAK was referring too.

Looking on the Posh forums, someone posted that Steven Taylor's apartment is up for rent again & someone replied the rumour was he was off to NZ.

Had a look at the net re: Taylor.

Had a good season with The Posh until the end when his form dipped, (may have have something to do with that charming fellow Evans becoming manager).

Was on a big wage which may have been one of the reasons he was let go. Has had pretty much every injury going at some point in his career but a very capable, solid player.

Always like London Road but Peterboro is a sharkhole, (apart from some close by epic bronze-age archaeology), If I had the choice I'd move over here.

Also he was in the squad Newcastle squad that came over wasn't he?

I was surprised to hear he was still playing...I vaguely remember reading that he had a shocker of a debut for Portland?

Not exactly a signing that would excite, but makes sense to replace Rossi.

Steven Taylor's career has been constantly hampered by injury. He's a decent enough player, but he's incredibly slow. I'd much prefer Ryan because at least then we could utilise the long throw.

Fun fact - Steven Taylor went to High School with my cousin in Whitley Bay.

I just checked Steven Taylor's record last season, more to see if injuries have been an issue, and he played 51 games with 50 being full 90mins.

Why the delay - flight didn't get in?

How many games in the premiership did he play, 150+?

50 games in a season last year... that can't be easy on the body. Perhaps its a reason to come here, he thinks he can keep playing longer and look after the body more?

Will be a great signing though - do we go to a back 3, or does Durante drop to the bench. Him and Taylor might be too slow a combo perhaps, although to be fair to Taylor, his pace can be too much of an issue otherwise he would have never played so many games in the top flight for so long.

You would think Taylor and Fox with TAHW, Doyle and Dura as cover.

That's a Grand Final defense on paper to be honest. Perth still have the best defense in the league but ours is certainly nothing to be sniffed at

Does anyone else think there may be some information about players coming off contract announced tomorrow? (Mullen, Patterson and the like)

Yes but hasn't actually been published that they have. Hopefully reporters will ask and publish that information

I'm assuming they have all gone as well, but asked Voerman and Rollo to try confirm with the club that Rufer, Galloway, Italiano, Rogerson, Mullen, McGarry and Patterson have all gone.

It's like when you play fifa and all the off contract players leave if you don't re-sign them. that happens in real life too.

I thought Mullen was worth holding onto, personally. Thought he gave his all everytime he played, just unfortunate with injury.

The rest of them; meh.

Every other club put out a press release saying who wasn't re-signed. Yet again we are the only ones who didn't, it comes off as very unprofessional imo.

Hopefully it was just the whippets in the EPL that made him look on the slow side. Ideally his experience in reading the game at much higher levels will negate any pace issues at the A-League level.
