As much as I love Tratt, and Soo's pedigree, those aren't really inspiring signings. In Tonya I trust to keep us optimistic!

I think we can deduce that what ever Tonya was talking about was rubbish or just didn't end up happening

Or he was talking about the Korean, and that hasn't worked out all that great.

Even then, he was still saying it was coming... Hmm.

I thought Tonya was a woman??

Nix squad page is pretty un-cared-for too... Includes Waine and Smith. No Rufer. No photo for most of the players.

And Cacace listed as a midfielder, though that could come true.

Jesus, burns was born in 88. I always thought he looked older.

Burns is only 1 year older than me? I thought he was nearing 35 tbh

Odd that SIX squaddies weigh dead on 70k. Sounds like dodgy scales to me. Or fake news.

NZF reports two very young teams meeting in the Chatham Cup final; wonder if a Nix trial offer will come out of it.

Nice to see some mutual respect between the coaches.

Will be interesting to see how two of the 'veterans' go - Awad and Thomas, both mid twenties. Awad looked good vs Onehunga - fast, skilful, and Wests looked dangerous whenever he got the ball in a bit of space.

Fending off the panic still, but seriously. 16 players signed, and we are 6ish weeks out from the season. I would think Tratt and TAHW will sign, but still really lacking quality players

We have achieved nothing in 10 years, why change anything.

Always look  at the bright side however Leggy.

10 years of saving means we may have the ability to buy a mansion now

Not sure how to react to this tbh. Was close to signing for the Vuc 2 years ago.

Likely well past it, but even past it he would be a better DM than Rufer; so..

Would also bring a bit of interest from the EPL snobs.

Would be a signing that is antithetical to the Nix's principles over the years - but our principles haven't worked so far, so fudge it.

It is fudgeing hilarious that the only time where leaving a rumour be would actually *help* us get (good) media attention for once, we shut it down within 5 minutes.

Yet whenever there is anything negative we should shut down immediately, it takes at  least a week.

This fudgeing club, I swear..

Probably the best outcome. We cant really afford such luxuries whilst we're saving for a house

Fully agree. Would have generated some good coverage in NZ and Aus media away from the usual kick us out BS.

But David Dome insists that he has learned a lot from last season's debacle

Essien would have been a better pub;icity gamle than Bolt at CCM. At least Essien had a real football pedigree.
