there have been plenty of times when a squad of "ok" players has performed well above expectations simply by playing well together. If Rudan has this squad playing together to their strengths then we could do well. If he doesn't then 10th is on the cards.

I remember writing off WSW in their first season; the majority of the squad were cast-offs from other A-League teams. They ended up doing pretty ok that season!

yeah, well, no surprises there, Newcastle was coached last year by Ernie Merrick, a grand final winning coach with Victory in his day.
