Yea I noticed that too.  Is it since the campaign a new type of fan has come out to the team?
Or maybe a lot if people wanted to boo and one person set off the chain reaction finally?

I certainly think it's fine to criticise booers as it's not nice, and even when we looked like the spoon was ours the Fever still sung and had fun.
I think booing looks bad and feels bad being among it when even during shark games it's still been worth going because the Fever is fun so booing goes against that.  Just don't like the way it was gone about.

I think the way to go about it is to encourage people to support the team the way you do, rather than criticising them for supporting the team in their way. 

I agree, the way some have gone about it isn't constructive. 

It's hard to do when you're being bombarded with negativity from such people, but the solution is to smile back at them and show them how much more fun you're having than them, rather than to turn and snarl back at them.

Well to be honest, in my life I have only ever walked out of four football games early. Once in 1985 when QPR put in a limp wristed effort at home against Southampton and were losing 4 nil, once a few years back when the Nix lost a game 5 nil and the last two home games when I thought we could and should have done a lot better but I felt some were not putting in as much as they should.

Now in fairness to the club and the players, the last two seasons have seen a gun held to their heads by the FFA and I appreciate that this was not good for their morale or anything else. I am so looking forward to next season because although, this season is a writeoff, there were glimpses of what might have been but not too many.

I have been hoping that since our extention, the players might have come out relaxed and really gone for the wins, but I think that they just want the season over with which is a shame. We all paid good money to see some effort only to be disappointed with things like refusal to shoot on sight or even take responsibility for any sort of shooting.

Dont really see the problem if people choose to show their displeasure by booing and dont really think it was any worse last week than we have had before,and no i dont ever boo my team as i never walk out early either.

However what i dont get is applauding them after another limp display cant really get my head around that one.

Having never been able to make it to Bethel Woods after a game i have often wondered how players and fans can pretend that things are all okay and that crap they just served up was acceptable.

How about someone talk to the players. A tenner says they absolutely understand that reaction after that performance. They would be more embarrassed to be clapped off the field.

It easy to say in a forum "Dura you are old and slow and your time is up", than saying the same thing to his face in a pub. I would tell a player in the pub that I think that it was not a good game but would show the respect for the man.

I have no problem with someone booing, but it may could be motivation to do better. I have no problem with yelling 'Shoot!' it's part of the passion, but admit some comments can be annoying. I can not accept personal attacks on players calling them lazy etc.

I save my boos for dikhead opponents who cheat and refs who make bad calls. Boo my own team? Never.

We don't pretend. Neither do the team. You could see on their facese that what they gave was not enough. Doyle and Dura looked really down especially.

I used to think we were the only ones with referee problems. Then I watched Pertth-Jets game the other night. 

To see Kris Griffith-Jones give an arguably undeserved red card to Boogard (with the resulting penalty to Keogh), and then not even 5 minutes later see him even it up by sending off Mr. Fair Play Dino Djulbic who did not even make contact with the opposing player, was something special.

Ah, OK then. But it still resulted in a penalty, although by then it largely all over for the Jets (92nd minute).

Can I offer something constructive?

Go back and listen over the pod. When Brandon was 'in charge' there was a lot of interrupting and not allowing people to finish their views. I think the role of a good host is to open and allow others to fill in, not talk over or cut off.

Just wanna offer that up cause for the 1st time, that was a very tough listen in the back half of it. I did enjoy Cam hosting as well I must say.

Probably the most important one.  Can you please delve into stats and if possible over the last few seasons, maybe where s\he water cooled before and if s\he has improved or not since coming to the Nix.

when I read the original press release I was under the impression that Berisha had a 2+1 week ban as well.

And they managed to get it reduced with accusations of Durante choking the cheat... I mean Berisha.

The FFA Independent Disciplinary Committee is hard to take seriously when you realize who is on it.

One of it's three members is former Socceroo player Dominic Longo who was sacked by his Belgian club Cercle Brugge in 1996 after he was caught in the club offices allegedly stealing money. This was an international news story back then.

A player sacked for stealing from his club on the Disciplinary Committee? Fudge me, now I can die having seen everything !!!

There's been a lot of covering up of Longo's dodgy past in Australia - Longo incredibly was inducted into the Tasmanian sports Hall of Fame in 2011.

He also was selected to play for the Socceroos in the years after his sacking for attempted theft by Cercle Brugge.
