Is Uncle Wynton as batshark crazy as everyone says he is ?

probably won't as this...

Maybe ask him why he thinks his uncle has not been used by NZF.
Didn't he basically just lose his academy staff in Auckland last year to the Phoenix?

Wynyrs as Wynyrs was basically taken over (amicably/because Wynton was done with it) by the Nix to become a 'soccer school' wasn't it? Not like they poached his staff?

I had heard that his staff left him but happy to be proven wrong.

What is your preferred position? (in a football team)

Has Ernie asked you to play full back? How hard is it to play in a position with so much depth, have you considered playing elsewhere where you can get more game time?

This week's episode of Phoenix City is out now! Check it out at http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts or in your favourite podcast app.

Alex Rufer jumps into the pod to discuss earthquakes, travelling over to Canberra with the Nix, and the two World Cup qualifiers that the All Whites played this week. It's a short Kiwi's Overseas segment this week thanks to the international break, and we look forward to a bumper week of the SSP with a strong WeeNix side taking on Auckland City.

I do miss Brandon, but I think the podcast is excellent at the moment. The guests have added some great insight and have been really good value.

The latest episode of Phoenix City is out now at http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts and in your favourite podcast app.

With no Phoenix game to talk about this week, the pod reviews the rest of the A-League games and looks ahead to taking on Melbourne City. The WeeNix knocked over Auckland City in the SSP, and Cap Football are into the playoffs in the NWL.

I hope any refs that listen have a sense of humour!
I once got into trouble on our Plains Rangers website for offering the option of 'The refs should open their bloody eyes' for a statement that you most agree with. I had an official complaint and had to remove it!

Great chat on crowds, agree with all that was said. Shame FFA don't seem to see expansion/metrics the same way

Hey I got a mention in the podcast! I'll keep posting the SSP highlights on reddit if its gonna make me famous.

Love your work - just couldn't remember your username for the life of me or you might have got a proper shoutout!

It's time to get this weeks episode of #PhoenixCity in your ears!

The Phoenix got back in action against Melbourne City, the pod is joined by Vitor Sobral, Phoenix head of communications, to chat about dodgy refereeing, an away trip to Adelaide and Video Referees.

The Stirling Sports Prem is back to normal, with Auckland City taking their place on the top of the table back before they head away to Japan, and the Cap Football women's team have somehow earned a home playoff.

yes, they talk about his past as a commentator and writer and his vision for the Phoenix, seems like a good pickup.

It's 100 percent worth having a listen to hear Vitor's stories about his work in football, they are great. Shows a side of football that us fans don't usually see.

There's a new episode of Phoenix City out, slightly early this week because of the big news. http://yellowfever.co.nz/podcasts

The pod talk about the shock of Ernie Merrick resigning, and discuss who the options are to take over the reins at the Nix. The Nix are off the Hamilton to try to turn their fortunes around after losing 2-0 to Radelaide, ACFC are off at the Club World Cup again and we wrap all the action from the NZ national leagues.

I think we need to give Roy Krishna some slack with that missed penalty though. It probably is harder to take a penalty kick from 15 yards out than the usual 12 yards.

I think the problem is the forums can be a bit poisonous and people leave as they can't be bothered dealing with it which makes it worst.

Also some peoples suggestions aren't seen so much as well thought out suggestions but more knee jerk arguments making it not worth the time to have a reasonable discussion with them about why it is wrong.

I'm an optimistic pessimist.
I'm positive things will go wrong.
