Does anyone actually think Herbert will drop Lochhead?

only if injured.....he is marginally better than siggy in the full back position.

Bah ha ha - even after this week someone is still defending Lochy!!
Whilst not defending Lochead, I thought Siggy was at least as bad.

Yeah - but Siggy has turned up more that 3 times in the last 3 seasons!

But not at RB

Dunno about that. I went to the Heart vs Fury game at AAMI a couple of weeks ago and thought the Fury looked pretty sharp, even though they didn't get a result. I reckon they'll give the Phoenix a good run for their money.

On a totally unrelated topic its nice to see its not a Kiwi team causing angst financially in the A league.

Well, I kinda agree with RH about Siggy. He's rarely been beaten at RB and is solid, but then again, he can't cross, pass, shoot, take on opposition. Dodd anyone ????

If we don't get the 3 points this week, I will be mortified.

Siggie scored one and earned a penalty this year. Not bad contribution for a centre back

Who has been out of position the most, when the simple tap in has occurred at the back post.

If there's one thing I've learned so far this season is that we're good at home and useless away from home.

We're at home so I'd expect us to win.

Yarn. The error on that Loloisi goal was on the left when we stood and watch that dude play the one two and get in behind us with time to burn.

This.

That goal was down to Lochhead and Bertos.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

no lochhead for a while now... injury replacement may be needed i'd say. we dont want muscat having to play there for 8-16 weeks.

doubt Eliiot could do the same job as manny does tbh, he may be able to shield but not sure.

looks like 343 is on the cards?

but if we do keep 4 at the back, Id look at bringing in some injury replacement and keep manny in the middle.

I think our two best wingback options in the 3 4 3 would be bertos and Hearfield tbh..

Way to jinx sh*t.

I got a bad feeling about this game...

We will lose again.  After bossing them for most of the qame they will slip in a late equaliser and then WELL into stoppage time (like much much after the minimum time) they will win a free kick just outside the penalty area and some unmarked furry will head home the winner.

Wenger will rage and get a ban and a fine from the FFA as well?

hmmmm  wonder if this would work? Not much defensive cover though. Would probably be better to have two wingbacks... but:

Who would play LWB if we played 3 at the back? Lochhead's injury could be a bit of a blessing me feels.

RH said 4-3-3 formation with Manny at LB, Daniel probs in for Ifill, and Lia at defensive mid, Ward pushed further up front with CG.

so now we a relooking at a starting lineup of

Siggy ----- Dura ----- North ----- Moose

                 Brown - ward - lia

                bertos - greenacre - daniel

still no big man up front to help greenacre out, bertos and daniel will play more as attacking midifelders leave greenie isolated again.

Or

Sigs, Dura, North
     Lia Muscat
Bertos          Daniel
        Ward
   Greenacre Ifill if fit.

Otherwise I have no idea. I quite like that. Though there is a case that Browny should be there.

Actually, is Pav back?

If so, then him for Ifill. And Ifill for Bertos, and Bertos to bench etc. Maybe Marco or Musa getting a stint on bench.

As a lochhead hater, I'm very glad by his injury. Hopefully his replacements plays superbly. An ifill being in doubt could be a bonus, as his perfomances haven't been great recently, though I'm not sure who's better. pavlovic perhaps?

FAIL.

if you read my post (or did you block me ?) you would know that Ricki Herbert is going to play a 4-3-3.

Muscat at LB, Lia for defensive role, Daniel for Ifill.
