Much wisdom in this one. Except i'd have Manny at right and North on the left.
Things that are key:
- Mac and Greenie play together, or failing that Greenie and Pav. Greenie CANNOT continue to play solo up front. It's a waste of him as a player.
- Someone needs to sit in front of the back 3, in this case it's Lia, so I hope he's fit. If not, then it's siggie at fullback and Manny filling the hole.
- We need to start looking to play through the midfield, which is where Timmy needs to step up, 16 passes in a game for a central midfielder is a joke. Ward is doing it well but needs to cut down his error rate.

If Lia is ok for the match in at RB?
I would like Lia in for Brown and play double pivots in Lia and Manny with Nick closer to opponents goal than ours, but with our terribly under performing full backs Lia might get a run there.
I hope Ricki makes everyone practise their crossing this week, like detention a few hundred crosses each :P

I can't pick a formation / team without forgetting about one player. Maybe Ricki does this with Toto ? But we do have a few options all around the park which is good. Will be interesting who misses out on the bench too...

Agree to disagree.
I see Lia as a far better passer of the ball and offers himself as an option better than Brown.
Plus I would like Manny and Lia to play a double pivot allowing Ward more freedom further forward with less defensive duties. Rather than Brown and Ward playing box-to-box and both getting deep, which slows our attack down.

I think we need a shake up - formation and players.
Formation; 4-3-3 has failed - created bugger all chances and exposed our WBs neither of who are too flash.
Players; Less players whose heads are still in SA or wherever and more players who are mentally here. Where is the squad depth we heard about ? Where's Toto, is Diego still part of our squad ?
Exceptions; Dura, North, Manny and Vuko / Paston
Forgiven; Ward (despite f**k up yesterday has made a big difference) and Greenie (set up as lone ranger - gets the short straw just about every game).
Rest; Nowhere near good enough.
Herbert - of course we don't want to over react but make things happen instead of hoping they'll happen.
Disclaimer; Angst is dissipating slowly after yesterday but some remains.
